I´ve sampled it once and I think I will buy a small bottle soon, although I wish it had more sillage.

For this thread i will repeat that Elixir is a fantastic scent. This from someone who has used and loved the original since 1978.
The two Azzaros do not smell alike, yet Elixir is a fruit of the original that didn't drop far from the tree. Sample and arrive at your own opinion.

There is many threads about Elixir, why have you created another one??

The scent is really beautiful - modern (fruity and spicy), but with a fougere touch of 80's. Amazing.

I recently blind-bought this one. It's a good designer scent, masculine, full and not too sweet. I like it, but I'm not blown away by it (i.e. it's no Fahrenheit). My girlfriend really likes it, though. First time I wore it, I asked her to grade it on a scale of 1 to 10 and she unhesitatingly gave it a "10". She's pretty picky when it comes to men's scents, so I was surprised. I'm glad I have it, I think it'll make a nice workhorse scent for the fall and winter. But I wouldn't pay too much for it, or put too much effort into tracking one down. It's good, but not THAT good.

EDIT: As I spend more time with this, I must say I am becoming more impressed with it. It has a musky sort of drydown that is very appealing. Longevity and sillage are good on me.

man... im going to have to give my bottle of farenheit another try. ive had it since 88 and its still half full. or half empty. anyway, ill give it another go round. wish me luck

I really like it and so do the girls. Its unique in a sense that no one else will have it.
I bought a 3.4oz in israel for 25usd. Great buy if you can find it for less then 40
