Hey guys, just taking a little poll for your favourite Paco Rabanne Fragrance? You can pick multiple fragrances if you want.

Apologies if I missed out a fragrance, you can post your favourite(s) in this thread

Let's have a look and see what the result show!

XS, Eau de, Sport.

you missed out on XS Extreme Girl - which imho is a grossly underrated scent. quality is almost niche like.

PR PH. I stuff I was weaned on It's timeless and has been stolen by Bond #9
XS is not bad but the new ones are ATROCIOUS (IMO).
Tenere is the only one to have sparked any genuine interest for me. Eau de Paco and and Pour Homme are decent. The rest - forget it.

1 Million...i find pour homme to be very bad
post #17 of 42
From your list, I picked Ténéré, but I think my real favorite is Calandre, which is marketed to women, but which I wear from time to time (but not to work). Check it out if you don't know it.

Sport du Paco Rabanne. Shame it`s gone..
You left it out: La Nuit
PRPH vintage (but i still like the new) closely followed by XSPH
post #21 of 42
Paco Rabanne pour Homme (Vintage) for nostalgic reasons.
Ténéré, because it's a masterful formulation.
Black XS, because it's just plain fun and makes me happy.

nicely put

about Black XS:

I kinda like it too it's strange people don't seem to like it more...i didn't choose it because i'd prefer PRPH but that doesn't mean it's not nice...
some people tend to think of it as the fruity floral equivalent for men but it's really not..only because it has strawberries it's suddenly unlikeable?

Hmmmm I think the issue with some people is not the fact that it's strawberries, rather the fact that it's SYNTHETIC strawberries, no different from a cheap air freshener outside, but I love the scent, I think it's a fun scent!

I used up a 50ml of XS in no time at all! I guess that means I like it a lot.
I really enjoy 1 Million and am trying to figure out what the hostility is all about.

Hands down -------> Ténéré
I picked Tenere. Quite impressive stuff.

I also think Ultraviolet is a pretty decent fragrance as well.
From the list: Ténéré

Others: Métal

The original Paco Rabanne Pour Homme is brilliant.
This is a very good Fragrance House. I have to go with Pour Homme
post #35 of 42
XS is my favourite, closely followed by Paco Rabanne PH.

I've often wondered if Creed had put out XS instead of Paco Rabanne, whether it would have gotten the attention it deserved. Yes, it is somewhat different from Himalaya, but to most noses from a distance, the two are very similar.

I like Black XS too, but it has nothing to do with XS.

I'm still annoyed with myself that I didn't pick up the Extreme version of XS at the time.

Wow, looking through that list, I now realize Im not a Paco Rabanne fan at all.
Then there's also Paco, which is not mentioned here on the poll. I think it's an "unisex" scent -at least according to PR- , even more complex than CKOne and Not a clone -not that that's a great achievement-

Clean synthetic citrus, it's one abstract scent.

what do you guys think of it?

I think Paco is/was a very nice and cheerful frag. I liked it better than CK One. Generic by today's standard, but interesting when it was issued. Fresh, nice sillage and long-lasting. Synthetic, yes, but how many designer frags are not, really? I believe Aqua di Gio was its nemesis.

Paco Rabanne PH, but I also love Metal.

La Nuit just plain STINKS!!!!

Seems like most of Paco's latest offerings doesn't fair well on BN!
