Evangeline, I love Diabolo Rose
Quarry, I liked Ninfeo Mio
until it dried down to "Eau de Yankee Candle Store"!
My order of three 15 ml splashes from Demeter arrived today and I'm trying out all three on skin.
is totally realistic and yummy; I'm going to try layering it with something citrusy.
is deliciously green and smells like lying in the grass in the sun. Very nice!
• "Demeter Naturals" 100% Natural Lilac
) smells like anything but lilac. I've had it on nearly two hours and I do not get even a whiff of lilac. Early on, I got some floral notes (jasmine?), then (briefly) cloves, and now it reminds me somewhat of Rose Kashmirie
-- it is also reminding me of the smell of original Chapstick. There is a creaminess to it that doesn't sit well with me, but others may like it.
edit: After 3 hours, the creaminess subsided and I got a bit of ?night-flowering jasmine?
But if you are looking for lilac, the also-available Demeter (not 100% natural) Lilac
) is quite a good lilac soliflore. (Not the best one, IMO-- that would be Highland Lilac of Rochester
.) It's linear and a little powdery but very pleasant, wearable and long lasting for a Demeter.
