Please help me sort them

I have three shelves.

Basically on the first one I put orientals, on the middle one aromatics, on the top one woody ones.

But is there a better way? Among them there are woody aromatics, oriental fougeres, woody spicy etc.

How would you sort my collection on three shelves?

I used to sort them - winter/autumn one shelf, spring/summer middle one, all year upper one, then I tried to sort them by groups and have a feeling I failed.

Any advices? I really like order and things sorted. I'm not really a neat freak, maybe in some aspects.

Check my wardrobe.

Thanks in advance good folks

I think, sort them by seasons.
maybe if you sort them by color, you will make your room more beautiful.
put darks on top, colorfuls on middle, and brights on the first shelve.

If you have a very large number like I do, perhaps you can sort them by company.

I recommend you sort them in general terms. For example, all of your "aqua" type scents so you can go to them when you feel like something light and clean, all your dominant citrus together, then the orientals, etc. It would be almost impossible to have clearly drawn lines for some scents and agonizing over this is, imho, pointless. Just go with general groups.

Alphabetical by house, then by name within each house.

I can't help here- there is no system to my collection. The bottles go wherever they fit. Everyday is an adventure in deciding what I will wear. I too have three shelves the height of the bottles dictates where they go more than anything.

I would arrange them alphabetically just like your wardrobe list. That way they will be easy to find. You already know what they smell like, so there doesn't seem to be a need to sort them by olfactory group.

I go by seasons and then front to back favorites to lesser favorites.

What mister StylinLA said.
I'm happy as long as it all fits.

You know you've got too many when you start looking at frags in shorter bottles because the "tall" shelf is filled up.

Do as I do, and organise them by house or colour.

I usually just put out the ones I'm planning to use (summer frags for example). The rest get put back in their boxes and stored in the closet. If I get the urge to use one of the stored ones, I'll just pull it out of the closet.

I do a combination of these two. It surprises me how they all fall mentally into place and with daily examination for picking a SotD I start to know where every bottle is.

I'll try to implement some advices here Seasoning them is not bad, I used to do that, then I tried to group them orientals, aromatics, woody but it seems I failed. Maybe I should group them - everyday/casual, romantic/clubbing, special occasions
