Cumming by Alan Cumming

I almost always wear this one on weekends, at night - but today I decided to wear it to the office. It feels altogether weird - like I'm wearing sunglasses inside. But with the heat and the sunshine it's bringing out a different facet to the scent. I love that about fragrances.

SotD: Caron PuH. Usually only wear this one after my evening shower prior to going to bed. Kind of strange wearing it to the office today. I'm tempted to close the door, turn off the lights, and catch some zzz's.

Green Irish Tweed , using the shaving soap, aftershave, deodorant and a spray pen of the fragrance. What a wonderful experience.

It's an interesting progression on my skin. Fresh, to fresh + floral/fruity, to floral/fruity + spices.

I went on a big binge of summer/fresh/citrus, and now it's time to dive into the fall wardrobe, even if I have to rush the process a little.

I wore the wonderful Rochas Globe.

Once this is on you it is on you for a long time and with a lot of projection. It also feels so right on me.

Creed Baie de Genievre

This one fills a certain niche for me. I once had a sample of Vintage Tabarome and it's gone. In a strange way, I find that Baie de Genievre reminds me quite a bit of Vintage Tabarome. It's got that certain dry, distinguished "brown" feel about it and even though I see no tobacco in the notes, it manages to have a tobacco feel to it-- it even reminds me of Aramis Havana a little with its other notes.

So when I have the desire to wear Vintage Tabarome, yet can't because it's dead and gone, I reach for Baie de Genievre and it fills in nicely.
