i am looking for a new fresh/woody day/office/al the time/you smell so good scent...

i am looking at

kenzo boisee vs

marc jacobs bang (which i heard good stuff but isnt available here yet)

and dsquared rocky mountain wood and wet ocean wood (the later might be a bit over the top?)

please help

It keeps surprising me that nobody is talking about He Wood by Dsquared².
It's exactly what you are looking for IMO

Bang is the ONLY way to go.

i've heard that BANG is a little too close to the skin scent, if that's so BANG is not for me, I want at least a little sillage if i'm paying a premium price.

thats what is my concern as well with kenzo...its a touch weak but nobody seems to have tried it here

i haven tried he wood but he wood rocky mountain wood which was recommended to me over the first one... what differentiates the two, i thought the later was supposed to be fresher (what im looking for)?

a lot of people seem to either lover or hate bang...but they dont have it here yet

Kenzo Boisee period.

I really was surprised by how much I liked and how much DSquared He Wood Rocky Mountain grew on me. I would absolutely LOVE to add it to my small collection!! Peppery and smooth and fresh.

Boisee for me. Excellent fragrance. Compliments round the clock.

D², but may I suggest Wonderwood?

I think they are all a waste of money.
I suggest CDG artek standard for a similar vibe but with much more character & depth.

bang is just too peppery does not smell good on me at all

I'd agree that Bang is too peppery for me. Out the others, I haven't tried Boise, but I did like RMW a lot. However, the longevity on me is tragic, so I won't buy it.

As an alternative, let me suggest Penhaligon's Opus 1970. Has the vibe you're looking for, but it's a better frag IMO. A little pricier, of course...

I've tried Bang and the bottle is great. But the scent is very linear. Now linear isn't bad if the juice has a pleasant scent. Unfortunantly Bang smells like I ground fresh peppercorn all over and it doesn't deviate from that. The pepper softens into a cedar but not enough to keep me from sneezing.

I recently bought my roommate He Wood as a birthday gift. I always get pleasant wiffs of him throughout the day. He isn't a perfume wearer and he loves it and is appreciative that I found him something that works well for him. Subtle with great projection and sillage. He told me he sprays 2-3 sprays to the chest and I smell him well into the night. Plus he girlfriends really digs it too so I did him a favor.

I love Boisee. It barely gets any mention on BN but its really not a bad cologne. That'd be my pick. Bang is just as Mr_Castro said, pretty much straight pepper. And I haven't been impressed with the He Woods I've smelled so far.

Kenzo Homme Boisee has good sillage. I just wore it yesterday and it smells good. Have yet to try Bang on skin so no comment.

Havn't tried Kenzo, but I Would go Rocky Mountain Wood, good work scent.

If you're looking for a fresh smell, I think DS will fit the bill. But you want a better-smelled scent, Bang will be the good choice. Bang smells like a high quality masculin scent. I usually wear Bang at work, in the club, go to gym... and get so many good compliments

Boisee deserves a better place in BN..

I like Bang, the other 2 are boring IMO.
