Trying to find a new fragrance.

I've been using Bvlgari Extreme for almost ten years.
Although I love Extreme, I thought it's about time to try a new cologne.

I've tried bunch of samples from different designers

Tried everything from Acqua di Parma, liked Colonia but it was kind of too spicy. Ended up buying Bergamotto di Calabria but the scent is more for summer than other seasons.

Tried Creed Green Irish Tweed and Aventus. I liked Green Irish tweed but Aventus was kind of sweet with my body chemistry. I will probably try more Creed samples.

Tried bunch of samples from Bond No.9. A friend of mine gave me a sample of Coney island and loved it but it was more for women. Central Park was nice and fresh.

Tried Christian Dior colognes. Loved Eau Noire but others not so much.

Tried bunch of Jo malone fragrances. They are more for women. Amber and lavender was not bad.

Tried Atelier Cologne samples and bought Orange Sanguine. Love the Blood orange scent but doesn't last long.

Tried Tom ford Grey Vetiver. not too bad but kind of too mature for me.

Tried Clive Christian from Neiman. Liked X but let's face it, those are too expensive.

Tried pretty much everything from Chanel, Gucci and Bvlgari.

I will probably buy a sample pack from Creed. Maybe Himalaya, Silver Mountain Water, Imperial, Original Vetiver, and Original Santal.

So I think I am pretty much set for summer fragrances. But I would like to buy a dinner/winter scents. Which scent should I look for? Sandalwood? Moss?

Any suggestions for colognes or new designers I should try?

Thank you.

A*Men - Thierry Mugler
Le Male - Jean Paul-Gaultier
Rochas Man - Rochas
John Varvatos - John Varvatos

You want notes that AREN't citrus, greens or lighter stuff. For example, vanilla is actually a core note in all the above mentioned and most people consider those to be dinner/winter scents

Thanks! I'll look into those. I also have a sample of Dior Homme and that smells kind of like vanilla. the downside is that it's too sweet.

I have a sample of Hermes Terre d'hermes but it wasn't my scent. But I will definitely look into others, especially Tom ford blends.

Bond No. 9, unless you are boycotting them for their stupidity regarding TPC. Hey, I understand.

What's TPC?

Grab some Acteur by Azzaro before prices go through the roof !

TPC is the Perfumed Court. Get a sample of The Knize Ten if you've never tried it and like leather scents.

I'd say look into YSL and Burberry for some classy wintertime scents. Also, I like:

Davidoff Adventure
Zirh Corduroy
Canali Men
