Bought a 15ml bottle of Tauer Carillon pour un Ange today after sampling it. Wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I really do. This is not everyone's cup of tea, I'm sure, but very complex and lovely to me. I must say that I'm really making up for my 5 months of not buying anything this month!

Lessa, it's very fruity, bright and uplifting! Just like the cuteness of the bottle that Mimi G mentioned.

The downside is that my nose detects the benzoin note very early in the opening, so...

It may have been discontinued because it treads the dreaded line between floral and fruity. I tried very hard to find another one like this on eBay and elsewhere, but came up empty-handed.

Must not be many bottles of the parfum concentration floating around...

And the best part is that this deal only cost me $25.99 including shipping!

Reporting back on the Ineke After My Own Heart purchase from E-bay. Absolutely lovely, wearable lilac. I love lilac but it usually doesn't play well with other scents and as a soliflor just sits there- as some have noted- it can be boring on your skin. This is the whole dang lilac bush in a spring breeze. Couldn't be happier.

Also received in mail today:
Partial bottle Alien. My first Mugler.
And a blind buy of Daliflor Love the bottle, will test juice later

I didn't buy a fragrance, but I got a FREE mini of Shalimar EDP from Sephora with my purchase! And it's in the new style of bottle ... so cute!
Fingers crossed... took a risk and bought Jil Sander III from a contentious evilBay seller...
Not the smartest thing in the world to do... but I've been unable to find it anywhere else!
Here's hoping I get it safe and sound.

Nice photo petruccijc! Is that bottle EIGHT FEET tall??! :-)

I recently bought Miss Arpels too. Lovely scent. I didn't do as well on the price, though. Enjoy!

Chanel Beige -- could not wait until the smaller bottles are on the market. Will swim in it if nothing else.
I made an ebay purchase of Emeraude edt, a partial bottle that looks like this.

It's hard to get info on dating these bottles. There are so many variations. I think the one I bought is 1960s - 1970s. We'll see whether it's any good. If I like it I may look for more.

Devil on left shoulder: "You love it- buy it!"
Angel on right shoulder: "But it's so expensive..."
"But you love it."
"i can't find a good deal on Ebay."
"But you love it."
"I could use the money to do something good for mankind."
"But you reeeeally love it - and besides, you can get 15% off on Fragrancenet, with free shipping."
"Oh. Okay!"

I'm awaiting my first-ever full-price full-bottle purchase of a fragrance I truly love - Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille, and I couldn't be more excited.

My parents went on a Alaskan cruise for their 30th -I house and 2dogs,3cats,3cages of finches sat for 2 weeks and they bought a bottle of Alaskan Mist fragrance home for me .It reminds me of CK1 citrus opening soft cedarish drydown.

I'm in for a split of Sycomore. This is one I have wanted to own for a while now.
I have been busy on Ebay lately:
(2) giftsets of Norell -supposedly a perfume and a cologne in each set $5.99 each set
bottle of Coriandre $2.99 -reviews sounded interesting and it rides free with the Norells
Mini of Mahora by Guerlain-wanted to try
FB Ysatis -loved this as a teen with a test vial have a mini and still love it and my mom loves it too (may have to get her a bottle)
70% bottle edp Anne Klein -I fell in love with a mini Green gardinia floral, soft sweet honey soft spice. MMMMmmm!!!!
'bout half bottle Anne Klein-It's Discontinued!
FB Anne Klein_-Alright! I'm stocking up NOW !
Miss Dior 1.7 oz FB-got a mini parfume and liked quite a bit
Escada Sport Spirit Fb -blind buy I love the other in the collection and the notes and reviews sound promising and it is dc-d so for $20+ shipping I thought I would chance it.
Lumiere by Rochas FB don't know which formulation it is yet .It comes from an estate selloff the elderly lady liked a WHOLE LOT of Marylin Miglyn off QVC though.
bookwyrmsmith, you are really going to town on Evil-Bay- you go, girl. I just hope we're not drivin' the prices up bidding against each other. LOL There's a few Marilyn Miglin I enjoy a lot- Goddess, and Divine

I got some blind buys on Evil-bay since my last post:
Bosari IL MIO SOGNO Cologne - only one review on BN but it's from foetidus, who has impeccible taste, so i could not resist.
Jill Sander #4
Forvil Poeme
And finally, a reasonably priced Vent Vert I have been wanting one for some months.
Knit_at_nite the seller was jewels-n-tools for the Lumiere by Rochas the couple sells a lot of jewelry and they did have Destiny availiable .Recently I got a promotion at work to Assistant Manager so I've had a bit more income to play with.
Congrats on your promotion!
Thought I would join you intrepid ebayers! I bought a one ounce bottle of Niki de Saint Phalle parfum! It was 39.00 and was a steal for the parfum version. Great scent and often available for very little. The bottles themselves are small works of art.

Miss Dior is a great fave of mine and I hope you love it, bookwyrmsmith, and you can't go wrong with Jil Sander #4, it's just beautiful! Enjoy.
Okay you convinced me . If Knit_at_nite,Zibeline,and several Bn reviews say Jil sander # 4 is good then it gets off the watch list and into the bid list.
Mail arrived . Two packages for me . Anne Klein edp 70% full 1.7 oz and Mahora mini 5ml/.17oz-doesn't say what concentration .Mahora does smell like a '80's tuberose to me.Nice, but not what I feel like wearing right now.
I received my Emeraude pdt today. I think I'm going to be very pleased (I need to try it on its own, not over today's Obsession), except those tangy very top notes are no longer there.

I bought a Coty L'Aimant Flacon Mist, too, and I'm looking forward to trying that when it arrives. I'm not sure of the vintage, maybe 70s. I can't tell you how I'm reveling in these vintage reekers lately. I know what will happen soon. I will wake up and say "what happened to me?", and the vintage reekers will go on the shelf with the others.
Today is my day off so I went thrifting- and wouldn't you know -I got a nearly full mini parfum of Jil Sander #4 along with a lg atomizer bottle and sample vials of Evyan White Shouldersand Claude Fabri parfums 21 and a nearly full mini parfum of 360 degrees and I only spent $1or 2 for all of it!
