Paco Rabanne Black XS

I know... I know. It's well documented that it's well-hated here. But on my skin, it does well. Out of the bottle, I've hated this too.

Soooo happy with yesterday's purchases! I hit Saks, Nieman Marcus and Bloomingdales with nothing in mind. Ended up with recommendations from the SAs! I never do that!

Van Cleef and Arpels "Midnight in Paris" - just beautiful. A softer, classier Bulgari Black. Gorgeous bottle, too.

Victorinox Swiss Unlimited - I never would have thought I'd flip over this. It's like an outdoorsman's Lolita Lempicka.

Andy Warhol Silver Factory - picked up the bonbon for this awesome juice. Was waiting for cooler weather. Lovin it.

Millesime Imperial 17 oz flacon
Etra 100 ml
Gomma 100 ml
Palais Jamais 8.25 oz engraved bottle

Etra and Gomma are blind buys, Palais Jamais is a backup bottle after being very impressed by my earlier 100 ml. blind buy of it, and the Millesime Imperial is my finally breaking down and buying it from an authorized Creed dealer after having twice been disappointed buying it at online discounters. The difference in quality is like night and day.

Ooooo!!! Nice! Do tell how it differs from the current parfum (which I consider my holy grail leather BTW)!

The nice SA loaded me up with half a dozen Malle samples too.
Plus, there was a special offer on, so I got 100 pounds worth of other goodies (soaps, soaks, moisturisers, and, um, lipstick and nail varnish) for free.
My wallet may be lighter, but at least I smell good

This month has been a heavy one on my wallet since I am ramping up for a nice fall/winter line up. Hopefully this will tide me over so I will not have to make anymore purchases until summer comes around. So far this month I've got.

A*men Pure Malt x2
Cubano Gold
Burberry London
D&G The One Gentleman

Lutens' Vetiver Oriental, Rabanne's Eau and Dyptique's Phylosikos (refill). Also, backups of BBW's Indian Vetiver and a vintage bottle of Mariela Burani's discontinued Bouquet de Roses Eau Rafraichissante for a friend.

Just bought Prada Infusion d'Homme.

Normally the 200ml bottle cost €98, but only today it's sold for €40 at a big department store, almost a 60% discount.

I have a dilemma. I want to buy either Chanel no. 5 Eau Premiere, Cristalle Eau Verte or Cristalle Edt. My mind and wallet says "No" but my heart says "Yes". Is anyone of you familiarized with this sort of craving for more when it comes to perfumes? lol.

Those Gurlain and Le Ete bottles have me drooling!

I am SO excited. Body Kouros is 99% sure to be the new signature, loved it when I sprayed it on a nice progression from Le Male.

Rochas I liked as well, but will be more of a trial wear for now for #3 contender.

These two will be centered by GIT, to be replaced by Aventus mostlikely in a year or so.
