Roberto- that picture, from one of my favorite later Marilyn Monroe movies, Let's Make love, is gorgeous. I love that movie- thanks for the picture !

This very late night I am wearing Aromatics Elixir which I adore. Something about the original just about grabs me around the heart and the nose.

Clinique Aromatics Elixir, third day in a row, two sprays today, still chasing that elusive leather note. I will definitely be needing a bigger bottle of this.

In the house with Candy Perfume Boy...Gorilla Perfumes The Smell of Weather Turning.

Talk about perfume having a distinct evolution!!! WOWSERS! This one starts off all mint & smokey, like clouds swirling above. In the drydown it sweetens, softens, and becomes a sort of 'green hay' - LOVE IT!!!

I am wearing Soir de Lune, Sisley.
I have been yearning for it for ages, stopping by a perfume shop a few time in the week to spray myself with it
And it was my birthday two days ago and I got it from my brother and sister!

Hello folks

I hope everybody has a good day. Today I'm wearing Yuzu Rouge by 06130. It's a sparkling citrus rose scent with a hint of cassis.

Hermes 24, Faubourg Eau Delicate - Sparkling, cool, floral and citrus on a base of very light amber. A personal favorite summer scent. I seem to horde this rather than wear it for fear of using it up. This is my second bottle of this gorgeous scent...one of the few fragrances I have re-purchased after depleting it. There really aren't many others I have bought more than once. Now that I think of it, the only others were Caleche Eau Delicate and Kelly Caleche (EDT). Yes, I definately have an affinity for Hermes fumes!

Pimpinette and I are scent twins ! I am still in Aromatics Elixir

Equipage by Hermes (from a sample - thanks ubu)

I tested the vintage juice earlier this year, but this is the 'new' stuff and by golly it's really nice...in a totally different way. I think I love both!

Duc: Wow, that Gucci ad is hot! (wink)

Fragonard, 1767
Dior-Dioressence
An elaborate tumble into the golden woods;
this charming tapestry of scent and wonder.
I take deep breaths as the mossy green panoply unfolds.
There is magic in the forest again today.

Created by Guy Robert of IFF;
a soft oriental aldehyde parfum with
top notes of fruit and rose;
heart notes of jasmine, geranium, cinnamon and vanilla and
base notes of patchouli, oak moss, vetiver and musk

Sounds wonderful!!

I'm ready for some fall weather, so I'm trying to will it here with some woody fragrances - layered B&BW Twilight Woods lotion with Bvlgari Omnia.

Love the opulent image posted by kumquat... (The girl on the swing: "I'll have what she's having!")

Today I'm wearing Iris Bleu Gris. Originally I blind-bought this, and didn't much care for it, in spite of the iris note. Tried it again today -- suddenly, I love it! Go figure. (But I do find it to be a strange scent -- I'm having a hard time getting my mind around it somehow -- a post on MUA called it the iris version of Jolie Madame, which is an illuminating way to look at it.)

Top Notes: Leafy green, lemon, bergamot; Middle Note: Iris absolute, vanilla, jasmine; Base Note: Moss, vetiver, musk

Ahh, I feel it too, Shades. I've just felt weary this week. One more day to go. Enjoy your four-day weekend!

I'm spending another day smoldering in Tabac Blond.

Goodnight, my fine-smelling friends!
