The Different Company de Bachmakov

I'm a very happy camper with this fragrance. It is classic TDC - something of a cross between Sel de Vétiver, Un Parfum de Charmes et Feuilles, and Divine Bergamote, with a touch of Alleurs et Fleurs thrown in, yet it's really its own fragrance. Clear and fresh as spring water coming off the mountains. Longevity is good at a subtle level that keeps gentle wisps going for hours, but if you want to experience the amazing top notes over and over, it's possible to just spritz and spritz and enter a cool, heavenly mist. Pine lovers, greeniacs, and lovers of fresh yet natural accords simply must check this out.

The only reason I'm posting this early is that I'm in doing a weekend binge of this fragrance. Wake me up when it's time to go back to work!

Molyneux Quartz pour Homme (1995) Spicy Woods
------------------
Top Notes: Grapefruit, Yuzu Middle Notes: Nutmeg, Pepper, Cardamom Base Notes: Sandalwood, Cedar, Leather, Musk
------------------

A very dry scent dominated in the top notes by bitter citrus rind. The heart note is a combination of sweet and piquant spice notes. Finally, the base consists of woods with touches of leather and musk. The dryness is quite pronounced for quite a long time, but eventually these harsher notes are relieved by the remains of the spice notes with woods, leather, and musk. The final stage is quite elegant and gentlemanly, and the best part of the ride, in my opinion.

Ha ha - thought the same thing after I applied L'instant de Guerlain pour Homme Extreme. Heavy gourmands are a tough act to follow.

Creed's Green Irish Tweed. Wore this yesterday evening, went to sleep, woke up this morning and could still smell it! So I figured, might as well finish up my decant of GIT; let it blend in with the dry base notes that were still alive on my skin. I slept about 10 hours too, and put it on a few hours before going to sleep, so I'm gonna say it lasted about 14 hours from the time I put it on to the time I woke up, and that I could have gotten another good 3-4 hours out of it (but very very dull) before it was completely gone. WOW, my best GIT experience to date; I often get around 8-10 hours which is still awesome, I truly feel bad for those who don't get more than a couple hours from this! I may have to purchase another bottle of this soon!
