Good grief, i'm still up and it's a work day tomorrow.
I'm sampling Blanc by ST Dupont. Mmmm I think it's a little too straight up floral for me. We'll see.

Domperrier- stop, you're making me hungry!

You royal highness- you smell divine in Dior, as usual

Everyone have a great day.

I found a sample of Farnesia by Caron and am wearing it
on a whim. I find it very comforting and rather beautiful.
Parfum Sacré, recent EdP. I hesitated over my sample bowl, but didn't have time to dig out my sample of older Parfum Sacré to compare - another day.

Warm embrace of Burberry Classic, it is the coolest morning so far this season -- only about 44F, see -- we told you autumn is just around the corner.
Trying to bridge the cool mornings with the warm afternoons in MPG Fleurs des Comores, rich yet light at the same time.

Lovethescents – good luck today.

My SotM...

Shalimar eau Légère

The juice is blue just like the bottle in the pic. (Thank you for the decant, A! ) This is the first modernized version of Shalimar, and perfect for summer or any time…if you can find it.

Enjoy the day, all.

Jean Louis Scherrer plus JM Orange Blossom (to sweeten the pickled-green chypre).

Parfumerie Generale-
Aomassai

A dense, caramel combined with smokey wood,
leaves me in a cozy 'Afterglow'
as in the name of the painting here.

Autumn creeps ever closer.
The nights are blissfully cool and a warm scent
cheers the skin with rich, tasty tones.

Aomassai Notes; caramel, toasted hazelnuts,
licorice, bitter orange, spices, wenge wood, vetiver,
balsam wood, incense, dried grasses, resins

SotE is L'ombre dans l'eau.

Dragonfly Blue Ceylon Truffle

L'Artisan Fleur d'Oranger to cool me off on this hot, humid day.
Everyone smelling tasty today!
Kumquat, waxing poetic as usual

Mitsouko this morning. Last eve I tested Solange Cosmic from a sample. Pretty good, but the price makes it not very tempting for me. It is one of those "all over the place" frags.

Bossa Nove - have a truly special day!

Happy birthday, BossaNova!
Hope your day is fantastic!
Terry, that L'Artisan smells fab on you. I know for personal experience, luv.
Kilawia, I was "just" looking at that Laura Mercier yesterday & decided it was my favorite fo her fragrances.
Jon Rogers, you are wearing (SOTD) one of my favorite Jo Malone fragrances.

It is hot here today & the morning was muggy, so I opted for my fallback in the heat, Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte. I've been wearing the heck out of it all summer.

Happy Wednesday Everybody!
Guerlain's Guet-Apens - if you can olfactorily envision an amalgam of Mitsouko's spicy peach-jasmine-oakmoss harmony and the baroque and burning sandalwood-amber of Samsara, you get the feel of just how wonderful it smells.

Chanel No. 19

Have a great day, all!
