Wanted: not your run-of-the-mill citrus recommendations

Hey all! I've been looking and looking for a citrus with some character, depth, and longevity. It's proving a bit difficult. I tried Hermes Orange Vert Concentre. I like that best so far. But want to try some different frags before I purchase the Hermes. I know there was a recent thread re: citrus. But I feel my search is a bit more specific.

Citrus notes I like best: Petitgrain, blood orange, and bergamot ( I like my citrus with some green and woodiness to it. A little spice ain't bad either.)

Thanks in advance!

I highly recommend CdG Harissa for an interesting, wonderfully spicy blood orange. I love it for transitioning from a hot day into a cool gloaming.

For a surprisingly true but linear blood orange scent, Dawn Spencer Hurwitz' Blood Orange is the best I've found so far. Another favorite is Jalaine Citrus Dreams oil: a light, lovely citrus blend that wears close to the skin a but for a longer time than one may expect from a citrus scent.

You may want to give Paul Smith Extreme a sample. Spicy bergamont and sandalwood make this one of my personal favorites.

Miller Harris Tangerine Vert

A greener, stronger L'Eau d'Orange Vert, which you will love.

This sounds amazing!!! Can I get a sample at Parfums Raffy?

So many interesting suggestions! Thanks a bunch, everyone. I can feel a large sample purchase coming on! ;o)

I think Dyptique has one that's blood orange, but I forgot the name.
I'm a fan of guerlain's Pamplelune - creamy sour grapefruit

PS - have you searched old threads? examples:

The best bergamot scent I know is The Different Company's Bergamote.

You could also try Hermes Un Jardin sur le Nil. Annick Goutal Eau d'Hadrien is a slightly spicey lemon.
