Got my Green Irish Tweed, is it GENUINE??

Hi everyone, I finally received my GIT from FragranceNet! I've taken some photos for all the experts here to see if it's genuine Creed product.

I sprayed GIT in the car park on my left arm and went straight to spray Cool Water on my right. The opening smell is different, and an hour later both developed into different smell. However, by the time I got to work I almost couldn't smell the GIT much anymore from my left arm. But Cool Water was still dominant on my right arm so I'm somewhat disappointed. Four hours later I couldn't smell much of GIT, is it just me or the GIT is off?

Anyhow, here are the pics. The first thing I said when I saw the packaging was .. What the?? Then the same again when I opened the box lol. Looks like it's 2003 bottle.

Real. The white center piece is the easiest indicator of likely authenticity. The fake ones are black.

Not surprising that Cool Water lasts longer.

Will it have to do with the fact that it's 2003 bottle (guessing based on the serial number).

Under the green sticker on the front, there is written "Creed Millesime". That is the new box. On the old box, there is written only Millesime. -So I think you got a quite new bottle mate!

It's not lasting as long as CW because the ingredients between the 2 products are different, despite similar openings.

GIT lasts around 4 hours on my skin - the greenish blast lasts around 2-3 hrs

Belive me.. Creed fragrances can be a mystery. Sometimes you can`t smell it on yourselves, but don`t worry. Others around you can! I remember some time ago, when I put on 6-7 sprays of GIT before going to work. 5 hours later I thought the fragrance was completely gone, when a lady walked in to the room 7 meters away from me, and said.."What is that beautiful smell?" Try to put a couple of sprays on your shirt. That helps!

Yup, I now think this 'phenomenom' is what it is. One batch can smell more violet than another and another batch can project or last when another does not./

I don't think '03' means the bottle is from 2003. This looks like the most recent version of packaging, which I don't think has been around that long. Older packages didn't have the Creed logo stamped into the box. The font on the top side (Fournisseur de Napoleon III etc...) used to be different, among other things. So yes, this is real.

Just an update on the bottle I got. I am not sure if it was just me or the scent itself changed, but after a about 3 days since first use the smell changed a little. Somewhat sweeter and more floral, smoother and .... delightful? I've grown to love it more and more over the last couple of days.

Though I really cannot detect much of the citrus opening that others seem to love. I tested GIT from 3 different bottles, and none of them smell the same.

Life is a like a box of Creed, you're never know what you're gonna get :P
