Smells like Christmas?

Thread Starter
I know it's a few months away, but I recently smelled Michael for Men by Michael Kors and one of the notes reminded me of Christmas. Burberry London has a similar effect.

Which fragrances do you think smell the most like Christmas?

Aqua Allegoria Winter Delice by Guerlain
Fille en Aiguilles by Serge Lutens
Secret Melange by MPG

To name a few...

Might come off as weird, but Toabcco Vanille smells like freshly baked Christmas goodies flavored tobacco.

Agreed with London. Also Gucci Envy.

I agree with Fille en Aiguilles.

Serge Lutens Arabie (reminds me of Christmas pudding)
Comme des Garcons edp (mulled wine)

Annick Goutal Sables reminds me of Christmas cookies my mother and aunt used to make.

I second Gucci Envy and Burberry London

Furthermore, Endymion by Penhaligons and Declaration by Cartier also come to my mind

Winter Star by Michael Storer

Tauer's Incense Rose

Polo smells like balsam fir and frankincense.

Aramis JHL has that cinnamon and myrrh thing going for it.

Good ol'fashioned Aspen by Coty kinda has that vibe. Also, maybe a little bit for YSL M7.

Pino Silvestre - for the tree element
Walking in the Air by CB I Hate Perfumes - for the winter snow
Avignon or Messe De Minuit - for the Christmas Mass
Ambre Précieux and Sables for the warm, vanilla bakery scents
Winter Delice - for the indoors with tree, baked goods and pomanders

Un Crime Exotique by Parfumerie Generale.

Frapin Caravelle Epicee
Frapin 1270

Well, certainly Nuit de Noel and just very recently Boxeuses (my first association was the "sugar plums" ) plus I think Ambre Russe is just right for me during the holiday season as well.

I get a "cranberry candle" vibe in the middle notes of Histoires de Parfum 1889 Moulin Rouge.

Just got a sample of the new Bang by Marc Jacobs, and to me - this is literally CHRISTMAS IN A BOTTLE. Check it out.

Reminds of curling up next to a warm fire with a book or someone special.

Varvatos Vintage also has a very Fall/Christmas kind of vibe to it.

I think Witness by Jaques Bogart is fairly Xmassy. Rich spicy cinnamon loveliness akin to mulled wine on a cold December eve.

Ah, I can feel my bells a jingling already...

Yes I agree with Ambre Russe, good call.

Agraria Bitter Orange Cologne.

Tried it!

Oh - And also - Comme des Garcons 'White'.

Which interestingly bears quite a bit of a resemblance to Bang.

Escada pour Homme reminds me of Christmas. For some reason, when I smell it on a cold night, I get a flashback to grade school Christmas pageants/plays.

Also A*Men because of the "foody" attributes it has.

Another vote for Un Crime Exotique. To me, it smells exactly like pfeffernusse cookies.
Serge Lutens Arabie through and through. Awesome stuff and screams holidays to me. I wore it on Christmas day last year and will probably do the same this year.

My wife loves Bond's Nuits de Noho and says it reminds her of going through a department store during Christmas.

Gucci pour Homme,

I describe it to people by saying it smells like Christmas, the spicy woody part not the sweet part.

John Varvatos classic is like cinnammony apple pie. Very christmassy to me!

I would like to add Noel au Balcon by ELDO and Wazamba by Parfums d'Empire

Mitsouko - honest. I thin k it is the combo of a) marmelade/bakery from the peach-lactone b) wood, damp trees etc from the (vintage) oakmoss.

ps: regarding cinnamon I would add Ma Griffe in the gold edition, resembling the aroma of almond biscuit, not at least Fracas for its butter brittle ...

for Christmas Potpourri CdG EdP, Dyptique's L'Eau, Caron's Poivre... For gourmandy indulgence: Keiko Mecheri Loukhoum (Christmas in Lebanon)...

Amouage Opus II

When I first started to wear CDG Carnation, my husband said it smelled like Christmas.
His mom would always have fresh flowers at Christmas time and always carnations in the arrangements.
Amazing how certain scents always remind us of something specific... but that's another thread entirely.
cheers.

Bay Rums are a category of fragrances that recall Christmas for me.

To me the original Opium (pour elle) is very "Christmas in a bottle "
