Looking for something 'Sprite-like' refreshing

Im really into my Oriental and Gourmand scents, but i need to push the boat out a little, i need a refreshing fragrance, like a bottle of ice cold Sprite on a blazing hot day.... is there a fragrance equivalent? something to make you go 'ahhhhh' after you've applied it!
clean men.....grapefruit, soap and sprite!!! good stuff, though a little expensive.
I think Creed's Green Irish Tweed kinda gives an "ah" vibe to it. A bit more so than Cool Water anyway. Maybe a little Banana Republic Classic can be like an "ah" on a hot day as well.

If you're looking for something that actually smells like Sprite, Aramis Life has that lemon lime feel to it, however it's not the greatest thing in the world.

no, just a reference to sprite being 'refreshing'

Creed Bois de Cedrat. This baby is so refreshing, it'll almost cure a hangover.
Try Nightflight, only fragance i've been able to wear this hot august in Seville.
Live Jazz refreshes me in a Sprite kinda way. I own and enjoy Aramis Life but its not really refreshing. Its more like a fresh/aromatic fougere with a touch of leather. Though it doesn't get a lot of love on BN i think its quite competent for what it offers: great projection and 8hrs of longevity is standard. I think its a fresh scent for a mature man.

If you like fig, you might try Ferragamo Pour Homme. I find it to be very refreshing after a shower, and is quite unique compared to other "fresh" type scents. It tends to be a bit feminine in the drydown, but it doesn't bother me.

I'll also cast a vote for Creed's Original Vetiver. Lemony, crisp, and green.
Guerlain Homme has a sweet, lime-ish open. It's a good warm weather fragrance.
Armani Acqua di Gioia. Minty, lemony, fresh & would smell great on a guy l reckon.
Bigarade Concentree from Frederic Malle has a lovely refreshing zingy twang , bright light tart citrus , flippin luverly guvnor

I agree - this stuff is amazingly refreshing. It's cedrat, which isn't lime, but every bit as refreshing!

Yeah, love this one, too! The infamous "mojito" accord!

I just smelled this, and also thought it was interesting.

A really refreshing, really limey fragrance - but you have to keep spraying it - is Guerlain's Eau de Cologne Imperiale. It is the most ultra-refreshing, natural-smelling, lime fragrance I've ever tried. Proud owner of half a bottle and looking to replace it when it's gone.

L'Eau par Kenzo pour Homme is great at this - like a sparkling sniff of ginger ale.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard that Allure Homme Edition Blanche is pretty much the same, but possibly better.

YES! 100%.

Soda has that effervescent fizzy character of Sprite and believe it or not, the longevity of Soda is really good on me. Awesome stuff.

The original? I get a lot of lemon from that and not too much ginger. From the Indigo version I do though. So much so it almost feels fizzy or effervescent.
I vote Live Jazz as well
Fendi Theorema Uomo (if you like clean green) or YSL Live Jazz (if you like robust grapefruit).

I only have the original, which you're right has some lemon. I haven't seen the Indigo here, so I haven't had a chance to sniff it yet.

Clinique Happy does that for me.
Givenchy Blue Label is my favorite in this category.
Chanel Allure Eidition Blanche
Maybe Ferragamo Tuscan Soul, or Hermes Eau d'Orange Vert.
Nina Ricci's Signoricci is what does this in the purest way for me, but otherwise Guerlain's Vetiver, Imperial, Eau du Coq, Eau du Fleurs de Cedrat also. Signoricci and Vetiver are the ones that last however.
Givenchy Pour Homme has an intensely bright opening citrus blast that falls somewhere between "refreshing" and "lemon Pledge" for me. However, it has its fans, so might be worth considering.

As far as refreshing scents I can recommend without reservation: Guerlain's Vetiver is always a great pick-me-up, as is Comme des Garcon's Vettiveru (from the Cologne Series 4). And the entire Royall Lyme Bermuda series of "lotions" (read: eau de cologne equivalents) are also worth seeking out. They're all reasonably priced, which makes up for the fact that they're pretty short-lasting. My favorite is (predictably) Royall Vetiver.

I saw the thread title in "Latest threads" and came here to post this.

You might want to sniff Givenchy Play - it has a sprite like opening that then transitions into a more vanilla gourmand drydown. Very very wearable - one of my favorite casual/office scents.
Clarins Eau Dynamisante also.
I suggest you try Gendarme Sky.
Going to +1 Tuscan Soul, and add Ineke's Derring Do.
Mugler Cologne
Guerlain Vetiver pour Elle
Signoricci
Paul Smith Story
+1 on Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche also try Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne(not the gray bottle).
As far as I remember Lacoste Style in Play (red) gave me a "Sprite" vibe with a little sweet apple throw in.

Extract of Limes by Penhaligons - most refreshing scent I've ever sniffed!
Several have already mentioned . . . but this one is just like a bubbly can of Sprite made into a fragrance. I keep my bottle close at hand when the weather is warm.

CDG Soda: synthetic series

Exactly!!!
I get my refreshing fizzy fix from Spiritueuse Double Vanille.
Creed Royal water immediately comes to my mind

This is a great Lime based scent, but for refreshing lime, Guerlain Homme L'Eau is the business.

Agreed, one of the most refreshing scents out there... sadly doesn't last long.

This is heading most towards traditional Eau de Cologne style, but again very refreshing. Roger & Gallet Extra Vielle would be another in this style. Both very light wearing, take a topup with you

I prefer the smell of Trumpers Extract of West Indian Limes... its cheaper too!

TBH, I don't think this would work for this. It's a ton of lemon, but in a lemon meringue sort of way, heavy on the sweet.
I agree, I don't find Allure Homme Edition Blanche to be sprite like at all. It smells much more like lemon meringue flavored yogurt.

I should add that my recommendation of Givenchy's Play is not the most "Sprite-like" of the recommendations. The primary reason I recommended it is because you favor gourmands, and it dries down to something rather gourmandish after a somewhat sprite like opening.
I'm sorry to revive this thread, but I too am looking for a great "sprite-like-refreshing" fragrance...preferably designer.
Any other suggestions?
Not designer, but perhaps Limon De Cordoza by The Different Company which has that vibe.
I think Creeds Selection Verte fits the bill here.
I think Absolue pour le Matin by Maison Francis Kurkdjian starts out really lemon fizz like, although it pretty quickly turns into a Niveau cream scent... In a good way though...

This one, no doubts!

I always found Live Jazz to have a 'lemonade' feel to it and to a lesser degree New West for men.
Creed Original Vetiver
Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme
Acqua di Parma Colonia (1916) might evoke such a feeling.
Adding Sisley's Eau d'Ikar & Aqua Universalis Forte. Both have very long-lasting citrus notes.
Eau de Cologne Imperiale, with its lime-flower, is one good option. Fleeting and bright.
Frapin L'Humaniste!
+1 for L'eau par Kenzo. It really does smell fresh and like a carbonated beverage.
Definitely CDG Synthetic Series: Soda as others have mentioned. I only have a small sample from the Perfumed Court, but I love it. Sadly, it's been discontinued for a good time and it's impossible to find anywhere on the web or ebay. (probably because of the cool, unique, collectible bottle). Such a shame.
Don't hate me for suggesting a sport scent, but Armani Code Sport gives me a soda vibe.
