If you had to choose one of this love/hate brand, WHICH would you select and WHY?
My favorite is Jasmin et Cigarettes.

Honorable mentions go to:

Fat Electrician
Tilda Swindon Like This
Rien

Vierges et Toreros

For its raunchy, animalic mix of white florals, leather and costus.

Fat Electrician

I love the combo of vanilla and vetiver! It surprises me how well it works! Love it.

My favs are Jasmin et Cigarette and also Delicious Closet Queen.

Jasmin has a top note of a real ashtray but with a lovely jasmine note and hay.

Closet Queen has a berry note with vetiver.

Jasmin et Cigarettes: a great, different take on jasmine. And it really does smell like cigarettes, not tobacco like most scents.

Also love Antihéros (classic, no-nonsense lavender), Charogne (delicious!), Fat Electrician (vetiver & vanilla), Rien (anything but "nothing").
None, but Charogne continues to intrigue me even after I dismissed it. It's quite memorable and unique.

Tom of Finland
Fat Electrician. Completely different and unique vetiver - love it.
I am still trying to find an ELdO frag that's as interesting as its name.
Fat Electrician and Tom of Finland have come the closest so far, but neither have completely wowed me.
Will probably try and sample two or three more of the ones listed in this thread before I give up completely ...
1. Charogne
2. Vierges & Toreros
3. Rien

It was a grower, but I too now agree. Fat Electrician is fantastic.

+1 on Fat Electrician: ¡estupendo!
I have Rien and Noel au Balcon. My wife likes Charogne and I may get it if I find a good bargain. I'm looking forward to try Fat Electrician.

I love quite a few from this house, and have been thoroughly impressed by most I have tried. It would be a very close tie between Vraie Blonde and Eloge du Traitre. I wear the latter more often because I find it less "challenging" compared to VB. Not that VB smells too weird, I just think it can come off a little less welcoming (don't get me started on Rien!) to some.

Why? It would be the most astounding one! Secretions Magnifique.
Why? It would be the most pleasing to me! Nombrile Immense.
Why? It would be the most pleasing to others! Jasmine Et Cigarettes.

SM isn't that vile as others tell You. Can't read the nauseated comments on the internet, namely Youtube "reviews". A bit of a bandwaggon to dislike it, it seems. It is for me and others that I told about this special resemblance "white soft apple" and after seconds "white soft apple with foul spots to take care of while eating it". When I told the people of its name and image, they shook their heads. SM has some milky note (by far more vile and sticky in Roma from Biagotti), a bit of a metallic freshness known from Blue Of Chanel but worse there, some warm skin note known from any leather scent. So far about preocupation. I'll take the challenge to overcome that ...

I concur. Once that metallic sushi opening blows away, the lingering floral is quite pleasant actually.

Yep. It seems almost there's a competition going on: who felt the most sick after smellling it and wrote the most disgusted review about it....
I haven't smelled very many of them, but so far Éloge du Traître is the best to my nose.
any more thoughts on this house? thank yoU!
I'm quite of a big fan of this house and actually own 8 of their fragrances...my favorites are (in no particular order):

Rien
Eloge Du Traitre
Je Suis Un Homme
Like This
Tom Of Finland
Fat Electrician
Archive 69
Noel Au Balcon
Bendelirious

Honorable mention: Rossy De Palma

a lot of praise to Jasmin et Cigarette but I'm very rarely fond of jasmine and white flowers in general...
Rien - out of this world leather/incense/civet combo, intense sickly and stunning.

Vierges et Toreros - a white floral bouquet that tumbles into a void of birch tar, leather, smoke and animalics, a more floral version of Lonestar Memories without the steak.

Putain des Palaces - a safe, sexy powder of violets and roses with a smidge of leather underneath, a slightly tackier more garish version of H&G's Geste - I love both.

Charogne - overipe flowers and bundles of indoles (haven't sampled for a while so can't remember the base to well) - reminded me of a thicker more bubblegum-floral Kenzo Amour, very creamy and cosy

I could go on... a wonderful brand
Wouldn't mind a bottle of Like This at some point, quite liked that one.
I've tried them all now and the only one I liked was Charogne, Gave me flashbacks of 80's vulcanised rubber [in a good way]

I generally think the quality is lacking with ELDO and don't find them that wearable.
After sampling I bought- TOM OF FINLAND and ELOGE DU TRAITRE. I love both of these.
I also blind bought SEX PISTOLS which is great and a bargain.

Putain des Palaces is my favourite, I get so many compliments on it and while it's easy to wear anytime and any place I find it still interesting to smell. It doesn't bore me like some other fragrances can do that seem to be crowd pleasers.

Like This is just a comfort scent but I seem to wear it more in colder months. Rien is a masterpiece of complexity and beauty. Bendelirious is a bit more uplifting than Putain, good for days when I feel Putain is a bit heavy.

these!

as I said sometimes, I love the way they play with classic elements like vetiver, leather... mixing them with more synthetic-sounding notes, giving something original but equally attractive.
They deserve much attention.
Jasmin et cigarrete is really good, but unfortunately I don´t like the jasmine as a predominant note.
Of the ones I've tried - Rien
I have a few, but Fat Electrician is amazing

My favorites, in no particular order:
Secretions Magnifiques
Jasmin et Cigarette
Charogne
Rossy de Palma
Noel au Balcon
Delicious Closet Queen

I can appreciate Jasmin et Cigarettes, its a very clever idea, but for me, its the least wearable and most nauseating from the line.
I sampled most of them, only found Fat Electrician FBW so far.
Tom of Finland is pretty pimp. Like this and Noel Au Balcon aren't bad either. I have the sample pack of all of them, but haven't really gotten around to trying them all out yet.
Eloge Du Traitre
Je Suis Un Homme
Fat Electrician
I like Rien. It's very suede like.
Rien.
Jasmin Et Cigarettes
Fat Electrician .
I'm surprised at all the love for Rien! I tried it many times in an attempt to like it, but I just couldn't do it.
