287 Samples Later...What Next?

Been through a load of samples, what would you recommend I try next based ones the I liked best...?

  • Byredo - Pulp
  • Creed - SMW
  • Creed - GIT
  • Creed - Aventus
  • John Varvatos - John Varvatos
  • Rochas - Rochas Man
  • Lolita Lempicka - Au Masculine
  • Hermes - Vetiver Tonka
  • Maxims - Orphee
  • Paul Smith - London
  • Monsillage - Eau Fraiche
  • Etat - Tom of Finland
  • Hermes - Un Jardin Sur Nil
  • Le Artisan - Tea for Two
  • Bond - Gramercy Park

Although I like the sweet stuff, I don't like it sickly sweet e.g. Aquolina's Blue Sugar made me heave. Also, I've not really gotten on with more masculine scents that are musky, woody, leather, tobacco etc. Nor ones that are too spicy - seems I lean towards the unisex/feminine

Any recommendations? Ta!

(ps. my wardrobe isn't up to date)

I will try to recommend a few, if they aren't part of the 287 club already:

Bond no.9 Riverside Drive
Bulgari Black
Tous in Heaven
Joop! Thrill
Givenchy Pi Neo

Hmmmm....

You seem to like intelligent fruit scents, so I'd suggest L'Artisan's Ananas Fizz.

A lot of these are tea scents, so I'd suggest Heeley's Verveine and Guerlain Aqua Allegria (sp?) Mentafolia.

For more vetivers, Guerlain's (of course) and Encre Noir (of course), as well as Le Labo Vetiver 46.

For the rich aquatics, Chez Bond.

For the gingerbread vanillas, Lutens 5 O'Clock.

Just because everyone should try them: Musc Ravageur, Dior Eau Noire, Rose 31, Tobacco Vanille, Ambre Narguille, and maybe the more unisex incenses like Costes or 10 Corso Como.

Update it!

If you keep some of those samples, try them again.
Maybe you'll rediscover a great scent!
