I've done this too with Butter London Toff, Bumster, Fash Pack and Big Smoke. Bumster is key to this look, this combo makes a wonderful mosaic on the nail.

I happened on a sale of Sinful polish, which I had never tried but my niece raves about. They were only 99 cents each bottle. I'm wearing Ciao Bella, a shimmery royal blue:

not my nails!

I'm wearing China Glaze Rare and Radiant ... It's a green and gold duochrome that is very similar to Chanel Peridot (and quite possibly Scent-imental's DL Swagga Like Us).

I'm wearing Orly Halley's Comet, a gorgeous shimmer-y teal. It's a light duochrome, sometimes it looks more blue, sometimes more green.

I DO NOT LIKE the paler colors from OPI! I don't know why I keep buying them. They all have an unattractive "chewing gum" finish that looks weird and cheap. The darker colors are fine.

Well, Don't Touch my Tutu went off, and instead I mixed my own polish with a few drops of Essie Pearly White in a clear polish from Sally Hansen. This looks much more stylish.

Do women find it attractive when a man uses clear polish on his nails? Or will a simple buff be sufficient?
I'm wearing Sinful Supernova. It's a heavy shimmered beige with just a hint of pink. It's worn wonderfully all week.

I can only speak for myself ... I prefer a simple buff.

I prefer a buff. To my eye clear nail polish on a man suggest laziness.

just the clear stuff

Hated Dior New World Purple - not purple at all, just a poop brown if the sun doesn't hit it.

Changed to OPI Meet Me On The Star Ferry.

Nail polish alert......Estee Lauder Pure Color nail laquer is fantastic!

I'm wearing Fiery Hot (which I got with my Nordie coupon).

The other color I really liked was Smashed, a rich purple with shimmer.

The depth of color and high shine are really what "sold" me on these.

Here's a little video clip and swatches of the colors.

Chanel Malice from their new Christmas collection - a deep, dark, shimmery blackish red. It's not as difficult to work with as Rouge Noir, but it's not exactly easy either. I ended up with three coats, and I'm a little worried how it'll look in bright day light tomorrow.

I have a French manicure but am getting creative with a mosaic using Butter London's Toff, Bumster & Fash Pack on one nail.
