CHANEL Pour Monsieur Shower-gel question

I own CHANEL Pour Monsieur Concentree. It`s among my favourite fragrances. I do not use the original, because it only last 30 min on my skin. I`m concider to buy the P-M shower-gel, but maby it is to different from the Concentree version? Enyone tried this combination? Concentree edt + original shower-gel? Will they "match"?

It depends on how closely you expect PMC and the shower gel to match. I'd say they match well enough, but there's an amp'ed up citrus note in the gel that seems more lemon than bergamot IMO. It' a reasonable complement to PMC, though.

I have a bar of the Pour Monsieur (original) soap. It's nice, but it doesn't smell anything like Pour Monsieur. What's up with that?

How do they differ?

I'm terrible with notes. The cologne has an herbaceousness to it. The soap is more floral. But I mean....they are completely different. No similarity whatsoever. Maybe my soap is old?

Sounds like your soap lost some of it's smell - this happens.

I have never smelled any of the PM bath products. The shower gel sounds fantastic.
