Great. Just salty, fruity greatness.

"Salty, fruity greatness" of a very different kind than Ambre Russe (which I also like):

Diptyque L'Eau de Néroli (2008) Olivier Pescheux Bright Eau de Cologne
------------------
Top Notes: Bergamot, Petitgrain, Verbena, Tarragon Middle Notes: Neroli, Orange Blossom, Egyptian Geranium Base Notes: Honey Water, White Musk, Cedar
------------------

A very good cologne, with an unusual accord of verbena, tarragon, neroli, geranium, and cedar. Not your usual stuff; balanced beautifully, and very well blended. It has good sillage for an eau de cologne, and decent longevity, too. The mood is definitely sunny and upbeat, if a bit cool.

The scent stayed with me all day long. That's a first. Although I sprayed quite a few times this morning!

Business travel day. It was Bleu de Chanel, with a little touch up around lunchtime. It's really very good stuff. Just have to give it a chance to grow on you. It's very appropriate for days when you want to smell good, and not create too much of a scene with your scent. Very pleased with its performance today.
