Good morning! I'm having one of those unseasonably early weeks at work, and it's a beautiful, clear but bitterly cold autumn morning in Stockholm. Parfum Sacré keeps me warm.

Good Morning everyone! My Scent of Today is:

Serge Lutens - Vetiver Oriental

Notes:
Dark Chocolate, Guaiac Wood, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Amber,Musk,Oakmoss

To me this one opens with a dry aroma that is like they have reproduced the aroma of a leather jacket without using any leather at all. Then i start to get a dry chocolate note mixed with the smoky and green vetiver aroma. The kind of comfort that i enjoy in dark fragrances.

Morning everyone !

Wearing Tresor this morning !
That's so cute, Duc!

Continuing my sample finishing mission, I'm wearing ...Tom Ford Black Orchid Voile de Fleur , and I'm not liking it. It's too much for morning. Are there times of day you can tolerate certain fragrances better than others? That's always been the case for me. To me, this is a night time fragrance. I don't like very strong chemically fragrances in the morning. My mistake.

ELdO Divin' Enfant.

The sweet smoke (which is prominent on me) is perfect for this crisp September morning.

Good Morning All: I am having some trouble choosing between two fragrances, so I will list both and decide which one before I leave the house.

Iris: Arpege Pour Homme with a dash of Hermes Hiris.

Vetiver: Encre Noir by Lalique with a dash of Tumulte by Christian Lacroix.

I don't often layer, but this morning it just seems the right thing. Smell well my fragrant friends.

Eau Sauvage
DeepSilence I adore Eau Sauvage!
You smell so good.

I have gone all retro today in Mary Quant's HAVOC.
This was a Guy Robert creation from 1974 and is a crisp,
green scent with a good dose of aldehydes. It reminds me of
Rive Gauche and Calandre a little.

Gin Fizz re-issue for me this morning.

Chanel AW10 RTW

Set out with a modest spritz of Guerlain Après L'Ondée, returned slathered in Chanel N°5 Sensual Elixir. Yummy, smeary goodness! I've never got past the aldehydes before, but between the two I'm wrapped in a soft fuzzy jumper. Handy, as I came home with one of them, too (not Chanel, sadly)

Wearing another scent from my friend's collection: SL Fleurs de Citronnier. Yesterday's Rochas Madame worked very well; I have high hopes for this scent, also. Take care, all!

Hello, old friends. After three days in Mitsouko, I'm wearing Nanadebary Green and deodorant (post a.m. mammogram). Was supposed to see doc for check-up, but he's sick today, so we're rescheduled for Friday, which has given me time to get witnesses to sign my healthcare power of attorney forms. Bother, bother, these modern life details, but one must attend to such things.

Kiliwia, glad you're on the mend. Hope everyone else is keeping body and mind on track.

Mercy, the weather has been spectacular … which encourages fall cleaning. Rather than fuss with rummage or such, we've been putting stuff in the driveway with "free" sign, and it's a delight to see every old thing disappear — clay pots, plastic pots, vintage reel mower, wooden screen door, tires. Oh, the high that comes from purging and organizing.

Located the bottle, so it's the one I wanted to wear yesterday for me; Guerlain Vetiver pour Elle

Everyone smells divine

Kiliwia, glad to see you back. I hope you’re feeling better now.

MikePerez, I love that pic of your vintage Mitsouko on the windowsill with the bougainvillea peeping in.

I had to shower and scrub off TF Black Orchid VdF. Funny, I liked it when it first came out around here (couple of years ago now?), but my taste/tolerance is changing. I’ve changed my diet recently, and I really believe that has a lot to do with it, too. I’m now in Chypre Green by Pecksniffs, from a sample now finished. This is better but I think I need to look for a Chanel…Cristalle or maybe Chanel’s Eau de Cologne that I hear is so good.

ETA - Quarry, hugs to you after blechy mammo. You deserve a treat today!

Hi, all!
Monday was a scentless sick day (although I think I applied some Serge Lutens Datura Noir in the evening),
Tuesday was Chanel Cristalle edt, and
today it's Yves Saint Laurent Y.
Have a great Wednesday.

I'm in light, stress-reducing roses today: WoW True Rose-- the body spray this time instead of the EdP. Just a light veil of fragrance, very peaceful.

This evening I plan to wear Bulgari Black.

How are you guys doing there in FL: Joe P, Mikie P and Kenny? 10 inches of rain is no joke, all like out of bottomless bucket at the same time.

On top of that Santal Blanc I sprayed a few spritzes of KL Kapsule Floriental and am enjoying the combo.

Hey again -

A glorious golden rose perfume for this glorious golden afternoon; Rosine's Rose d'Eté.

Being quite sleepy this morning (after a night of oh, about 10 minutes' sleep) I accidentally grabbed Coco Mademoiselle to layer over my Mitsuoko EDP (I usually spritz a little Mitsu Vintage EDT atop the EDP as it somewhat softens the rather sharper reformulate EDP) and wondered why it smelled different. I guess I was in quite fragrant Mademoiselle Mitsucoco! (people at work thought the combo was nice, a little strong but nice.) Good thing, as I had an all day photo shoot and didn't need to be making folks fall over coughing from excessive perfume overspray! (and as I was already late for work, didn't have time to scrub and start over.)

I'm glad to read that Kiliwia and Turquoisewater are feeling better. Continued supportive thoughts going out to 30Roses.

I needed a hit of iodine today. Thank you, Annick Goutal, for your unique Vetiver. Sometimes nothing else will do!

Also smiling at Mitsucoco! :-)

No SotE for me. 3 sprays of Divin' Enfant this morning, and it's still going strong. The longevity on this one is unreal. (But in a good way!)
