The esteemed house of Thierry Creed introduces their newest scent, Pure Windsor. Pure Windsor is strictly a once off limited edition and will be available in two limited quantity formats. Be sure to act quickly as there are only two and a half 5 gallon flacons (now with Ecuadorian llama leather back straps for easy portability) and 1265 one-third mL vials available.

When asked to provide details about the release, Thierry Creed had this to say:

"Pure Windsor is made with the finest and purest windsor, which is only available once every five years or so when unsubstantiated claims of authenticity nourish unmitigated hype which, when the conditions are just right, leads to the blossoming of the incredibly fragrant pure windsor. To bring out the finest olfactory nuances, Pure Windsor has been aged for 42 years in barrels made of oak sourced from the royal dining set of King Edward VIII."

Would you recommend it to a hermaphroditic undertaker to be worn around the office during a wintertime solar eclipse?

Will it drop panties?

Glad to see they made the switch.

I don't think they're using real bladders tho, seemed synthetic imo:

Once you've broken the Thierry Creed freshness seal, it's best to use it up within a few weeks if you really want to attract fresh royals.

What are the notes?

I'm sure it contains unicorn blood, mandrake root, water extracted from moon rock, phoenix ashes, lavender from queen victorias pillow, thyme cut at midnight in the gardens of windsor castle at full moon, ambergris from moby dick and ancient spices found in the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Top Notes: money accord, stress, frustration.

I'd pay twice as much for the half flacon because it's going to become a real collector's item!
I heard it was already reformulated.
I already got compliment on it sitting in last row in cinema from lady in first one. And I did just 1 spray on each of my socks.
I just saw a bottle on Fragrancenet.com for $575.69 (plus shipping but I have a coupon).
Do you think it's real or fake? REALLY want to try this!!!1!

What the heck is "the finest and purest windsor"?

(Was going to make some royal joke but thought better of it.)

the royal duke of windsor roses that we gave water mixed with some nice malt liquor.

Sorry, SOS, I admire good satire and all... but Windsor is one of those things which is not too expensive if you like it.

Quite frankly, compared to any Amouage EdP I tried, Windsor wins by a mile. (I exclude attars here, as Homage became one of my most favorite things ever.) It may not be as "interestingly dirty" as some of the Amouages, but it is something prone to both satisfy the connoisseur and to not offend, moreoever to potentially highly please the half-interested occasional sniffer.

The Amouage EdPs I tried gave me headaches, and a couple of them, even applied sparingly as it is my wont, created raised eyebrows, wrinkled noses, and a palpable sentiment of displeasure around me.

Is Windsor expensive? Sure. Worth the money? Up to the individual sniffer. Count me among the convinced ones.

I’ve bought a 4oz bottle of this on Ebay. Do you think it’s fake??
Is it a "classic" and will it attract women?

Doesn't matter, there's no way it smells better than Pure Malt, so forget about it.
Can a man wear it?
Yes. and I heard Cary Grant is still wearing it.

That is true, Bogart emailed me yesterday and tried it, says this stuff is the best thing since vintage tabarome that he also wore.
Wow, since Vintage Tabarome? I thought Pure Windsor was created long before that!

Actually it was, but only the most exclusive clients at the time could have it, and it was locked away in a vault for many many years. Or so says the legend.

I'm pretty sure I saw some statuary in honor of Pure Windsor at Buckingham Palace. Oh, and I learned back in elementary school that it's what Neil Armstrong wore on the moon.

You are very well informed sir and it was the fragrance Bill Clinton used in office. So you know it is appreciated by women , I will not go into the details.

I heard that about Pure Windsor on the moon, too. I had also heard that despite the moon having no atmosphere, Pure Windsor performed superbly in the sillage department, but then I wouldn't have expected anything less.

Pure Windsor, however, does not stain fabrics!

That is right it does not, and it is a sillage monster and staying power is all day with this bad boy. In the fountainbleu house of Olivier he had the best scientists help him with making the fragrance work in any environment and any planet.

You meant the house of Thierry, right? I think you've been sniffing too much Pure Windsor David.

Or did you actually mean to talk about Thierry Creed's son, Olivier Mugler? As far as I know Olivier Mugler didn't have a hand in this composition - I mean, how could he, he's so young? Pure Windsor was being perfected in oaken casks for longer than Olivier's been on this planet!
They say that on a clear night with a full moon, when the wind is just right, you can still smell Neil Armstrong's sillage...

That pure windsor man it is a doozy, but actually the son helped in making the bottles and making sure the ancient formula was on par. I heard he will be taking over the house soon and will be making a fragrance of his own on behalf of his girlfriend Paris Hilton I heard it will be called original sin 69 but not sure.
