Why is this happening to me? - Wasn't going to replace it, but now it's almost gone...

Mont Blanc Homme Exceptionnel

I bought it in my pre- Basenotes days (airport/ holiday purchase, IIRC).

Anyway, having started to explore the world of scent, I decided that ther wouldn't be room for H.E. in my wardrobe once I used up my current bottle.

I've been wearing it today (initial application and top ups), and now there's just about one day's supply left.

Suddenly, I'm thinking of buying another bottle. Where on earth did that come from?

Is this common? Loss of an old friend?

Maybe I should just go out and buy YSL PH instead?

Hey, it happens; I found myself thinking of buying pre-Basenotes stuff too (Polo, Polo Sport, Armani EPH, Baldessarini, etc).
But why wouldn't there be room for the Mont Blanc? If you like it, buy it & wear it. Just because you bought it in your pre-Basenotes days it doesn't necessarily mean you've outgrown it.
