SotE: Antaeus. I went on a fragrance shopping safari today, and this one leaped off the shelf and into my hands. I tried to put it back, but it kept screaming "buy me, buy me." So I did. It's a 50ml of the reformulation, which -- basnotes blasphemy, I know -- I actually prefer to the original. It is mighty fine stuff.

I also shopped YSL Jazz -- just can't get over its 70s-early 80s feel, too much like YSL Homme -- and I found a bottle of Chanel Pour Monsieur. Not Concentree, the original. I really should have snapped it up on the spot. I am going back for it tomorrow.

My birthday was last week, and the fragrance binge is my birthday present to myself. I also bought a bottle of Caron pour un Homme -- blind -- and OMG is it good stuff. The basenoters steered me in the right direction again. It smells exactly like what I anticipated from reading basenotes reviews. Another BN success story. Thank you, basenoters!

damn dude. uve been praising this alot lately im very curious to smell it. is it sold at any department stores where i can go in and sniff it? like neiman marcus or something?
