I admit im a newbie at fragrances . But after getting into frags the past 4 months ive been addicted to learning more and more. So far I bought He Wood Rocky Mountain- Voyage d Hermes- Play Intense- YSL La Nuit . Im looking for a solid allseason/day&night frag to complete my mini collection. I considered La Nuit but I live in Florida and I think La Nuit is too strong to be wearing in the heat. So what are your top 5 ultimate allseason frags ?

i think Dolce and Gabbana The One is is the perfect year round day or night versatile signature scent

Try Fahrenheit and the ubiquitous Acqua Di Gio - both easily found at Sephora. Let the Fahrenheit develop on your skin for a few hours before you decide. It's a good one for sure.

And Aramis New West

Also I forgot to mention........I dont want anything overly popular/mainstream. I dont wanna smell like that other guy or some girls ex boyfriend.

Then forget Acqua di Gio. But Fahrenheit and New West are definitely ones to try.

Fresh fragrances are usually better allseason than sweet warm fragrances so you should start your search there.

Then:

+1 on Fahrenheit

you should also try:

Gucci PH 2 = tea + violet leafs, this one is cold and warm together, may be bit cloying in very hot temperatures
Encre Noire - dark vetiver, to me this is clearly signature fragrance good for anything. Just dont overspray.
Bvlgari Aqva - fresh top + spicy seaweed on drydown. Was my signature for half year. I cant stand it right now, but it is good all year around.

Also fragrances I tried but dont own:
Bleu De Chanel
Chanel Egoiste Platinum
Herrera 212 Men

Guerlain Cologne du 68 - Spicy, citrus up top, not over whelming. Fits all occasions and seasons. Unisex. I would have purchased this if I didn't have....
Dior Homme Cologne - This flanker is basically Dior Homme with the middle and basenotes flipped. A citrus top note is added to lighten the composition up. Can work year round, just not in stupid heat in the 90s. Early summer would be okay.
Kenzo Power - Great alternative to Dior Homme Cologne if the former cannot be found. This is available at Sephora at the very least and it's still sold at most online retailers. Same spicy fresh floral feel to it.
Creed Green Irish Tweed - Clean, green, and the Creed signature basenote of ambergris is done really well. This'll hold up to any season.
Bond No. 9 Bleecker St. - Clean, green, MIGHT be a little obnoxious with it's potent green notes, but the dry down is pretty nice and sweet. Light enough to work in most summer days and nights, but it has enough bulk to work pretty decently on cooler days.
Carolina Herrera 212 for Men - Green, fresh, modern, metallic. It's got enough strength to withstand cooler weather and crisp enough to be okay in the heat.
Gucci Pour Homme II - Fresh tea fragrance with a little tiny bit of spice. It works well with any weather.
Prada Infusion D'Homme - This iris based fragrance might come off as very unisex and smelling like baby powder. It's soapy like some expensive soap. I can't see how this isn't suitable for all seasons. It's very comforting and non offensive to wear anywhere.
Cartier Roadster - The mint is clean enough to be worn in the heat, but the vanilla and other notes that make it rather thicker than your typical mint fragrance allows it to work on the colder days.

to me niche fragrances like bond and creed are a waste if i`m 250+ dollars for a bottle it better smell like the shit and it better knock down everyone with it`s projection

but for an all season signature scent check out l`eau d`issey by issey miyake it`s fresh fragrance that has great longevity and it has excellent projection but at the same time it`s not fragrance that`ll make others around you gag

so give this a try or

mugler cologne

or armani attitude extreme

I'm a big fan of Silver Mountain Water as an all weather, anytime scent. It just works for me. I've been wearing Aventus some lately, and I think it may be just as versatile. At least try a sample, as it just smells ridiculously good. Of course Green Irish Tweed is also good, but with its popularity and that of Cool Water, might not be as unique as you're looking for.

I think The One is quite versatile as well, but it's pretty mild mannered. While I like it, I think it tries to cover too much ground, so can lack distinction. I think Polo Modern Reserve might work for you, as well. It's pretty manly and herbal like original, but has somewhat of a soapy accord that cleans it up and makes it a bit more versatile, IMO. Applied lightly in the warm weather, Parfums Di Nicolai's New York would probably be a good fit, if you want something that's a bit more mature, plus I think it's a great deal for a step above the general designer crowd.

been watching his videos! would've subscribed if i used gmail. recently purchased on of the guru's suggestions. boss bottled. i'm in similar weather but i plan to use boss bottled in the office or nights out.

farenheit though? really? in florida? never tried it and i'm genuinely curious. i know a retired banker that uses this as his signature scent. would not mind following in his footsteps at all.
