Anyone try Linari fragrances/Mark Buxton's niche?

Some of the notes in their frags look very interesting, and their website says they use "the finest raw materials"; which can be read here http://linari.com/edp_pages/overview...56b1560ee0469b

The BN link to their directory is here http://www.basenotes.net/company/103265

I'm intrigued by most of them, but especially Angelo di Fiume. I've also heard many kind things about Mark Buxton's niche frags; is anybody familiar with his less mainstream stuff?

Hi, I am just bumping this thread; I have been interested in trying these for some time.

Has anyone tried them, could you describe them?

And does anyone know where I might buy samples?

Samples here. Ach, but they don't ship to the US.

I am wearing Angelo Di Fiume from the Min NY tester. I am loving this! It's not the priciest, but certainly not affordable. Still, would I have the money, I would buy this tomorrow. I also liked Eleganza Luminosa very much, but haven't tried it on my skin. AdF is pretty special, though. Anybody else has thoughts on this interesting line?

The only one that I found a bit lackluster for the price is the aquatic one, which name I forgot (Vista sur la mare?)

A friend let me try Fuoco Infernale. Found it interesting.

You can buy Linari samples at ausliebezumduft.

So far I tried Acqua Santa by Roucel. A very complex and refined flowery / sweet fragrance. White flowers, sugared almonds and the typical slightly incensey vibe you get in a church on a wedding day. I was quite impressed but need a couple more wearings to completely get it.

Fuoco Infernale by Egon Oelkers. IMO this is the stand-out. Masculine, complex, opulent, rich, animalic, solid, challenging. As usual in Oelkers composition there's an huge pyramid.

Eleganza Luminosa, Vista Sul Mare, Notte Bianca, Angelo Di Fiume
unremarkable and quite generic. They go from woody to aquatic via flowery with a disappointing result. Definitely overpriced.

My impressions more or less mirror those of alfarom. Reviews of all of them can be found here:
