YSL Pour homme Haute Concentration and Boucheron Pour homme EDP

Hello. I own a bottle of Boucheron Pour homme EDP. I`m very intrested in the YSL Pour homme Haute Concentration, but I have not tried it yet (not available in my country). Can someone explaine the differences between these two fragrances? Do I "need" YSL P-h-h-c when I already own the Boucheron P-H edp? Are they similar?

I own a bottle of each. I enjoy them both, but the Boucheron has more of a "formal" feel to it. Other than a prominent lemon note I don't find them very simlar. The YSL has a slight dirtiness to it; at least one reviewer refered to it as smelling like "sweaty lemons," a description I definitely agree with. I like the Boucheron EDP quite a bit, but I love the YSL Haute Concentration. I'm glad I own both but if I had to choose one it would be the YSL.

i own both. boucheron edp and this...now that you mention it, i find a slight similarity in the beginning..i didnt think first but after reading your comment, i do feel that initial and notes are a bit like but haute concentration is heavier and herbier while boucheron is better choice for formal wear..but haute concentration is cheaper option

They are not similar - YSL Pour Homme Concentree has record-worthy longevity and projection, while Boucheron pour Homme EDP is smoother, more complex and subtler

I also own both, and they are really different as replyed by Ken_Russel.

BPH EDP is very formal chique and floral in the powdery drydown.

And YSL PH Haute Concentree has a lot of sharp lemons to it with a lightgreen woody drydown where also the lemon becomes more mellow.

My Favorite Both.

BPH is a ladymagnet not a chickmagnet if applied carefully!

YSL PH HC is also attractive but in a dirty criminal way, and take note apply the scent from min 30 cm from your body then YSL has the chance to become softer and smoother.

I`ve just order YSL Pour homme Haute Concentrate blind.. I`m very excited! I like classical gentlemans fragraces, so I suppose I will like this one also. Does it share some similarities with Armani eau pour homme?

YSL Haute starts with a very clean lemon and dry down slightly dirty with something like rubber.

Armani Eau is different, always clean and the lemon isnt that proeminent.

ohh, citrus Lemon power scents. Oslo did what i almost did, a blind buy of Haute concentrate. But then, i gave up... Seems like YSL HC , Boucheron, Monsieur de Givenchy and eau Sauvage shares some in common. I am thinking about MdG now, seems its more subtle and maybe a better choice for me, cause i don´t love citrus, but i can´t hide now either. Any thoughts?

The citrus family has not been my top-favorite eighter, but the elegant woody aromatic dry down on these scents are just irresistible.

I find YSL pH much harsher, more animalic and daring than Armani EpH which is just a simple fresh cologne to my nose.

Only know and like Boucheron EDT. The YSL is different enough and excellent.
