I am loving the Feminite Du Bois (original) that I just sprayed on.
My hubbie is in France this week and i have asked him to see if
he can find me another bottle. Last time they stocked it in Marionnaud
and I am hoping they will still have it on the shelves (or even under them!)

Hello everyone. Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday.

Wearing J'Adore today, from a set of Dior miniatures that I picked up on holiday. I'm largely neutral about this one. I think the L'Absolu version is better, but neither are fbw for me.

Hello everyone!

Duc, I thought of you when I reached for my sotd, a charming new side-effect of the already amazing Ysatis de Givenchy, vintage parfum.

Y'all have a wonderful day!
I'm flattered, Evange, really!

Hope you enjoy the foliage, gorgeous weather, and apple/pumpkin picking tdem1961 !!

I've been wearing Chanel Beige this morning while I cook. I've been testing this for the last three days. I"m not enamored with the first 20 minutes or so (as Warum noted yesterday, it's likely the freesia - one note I'm not a fan of), BUT after that, the fragrance turns absolutely beautiful as it becomes less sweet-floral. I have become enchanted with this.

Enjoy the day!

A Caron day for me...

SotD: En Avion Extrait (current)... I think it is too sweet for me. I'd definitely have to avoid to get this on fabric as my skin renders it a wee bit less sweet, but still...
SotE: Tabac Blond Extrait (current) + one wrist Tabac Blond Extrait (vintage)

I think the Tabac Blond is worth a thread tomorrow...

SotE - Angel by Thierry Mugler ... yay!

Good Sunday Afternoon, All!
This am was cool and I wore Coco extrait. It was great all morning.
Now it is almost 90 degrees F. outside and I need something lighter. Tdem, it will be weeks until we have the turning leaves and cooler weather. Enjoy.

Nahema by Guerlain.

George Sand yesterday. Apres l'Ondee today. I just got this crazy idea to systematically go through all my samples, one by one, and use them up until they are all gone. Anyone ever do this?

Kenzo Summer.

Call it the scent of denial!

I started out my day in Cologne du 68... and then went for a little trip to Ulta to see if they had anything special. They didn't. I'm surprised at how much space is reserved there for so few bottles of scent! It was every bit as productive as that locked case at the grocery store, except perhaps for the John Varvatos and Chanel offerings. The only thing that beckoned to me at all was the men's section scents, John Varvatos, and Chanel Platinum Egoiste... but neither of those was interesting enough to buy. The JV is faded to a lightly musky skin scent now, 5 hours later, and the Egoiste smells rather generically "men's EDT"... soapy and a little woody, but nothing to write home about. I tried Pure Poison, Burberry Brit, Insolence, and one other I completely forgot, and all of them smelled just too "modern clean" with calone galore. Sigh. (at least I left without spending any money). Did not realize Ulta had so little to offer in their scent department.

EDIT: Later this evening, I am sniffing the left hand where Chanel Platinum Egoiste was spritzed earlier. Oddly enough, with a layer of Habanita on top, the Platinum Egoiste is coming through and smells great. I may have to put on Habanita and go back and layer PE on top of it... (I feel a lemming coming on.)

Hi all! This morning I tested Dior Homme. Didn't think much of it at first, but it sort of bloomed on my skin. I can see why it has so many fans!

SotE TBD. Wishing all a great week! :-)
SotE = Calvin Klein's original Obsession for Women edp. Oooohhh...the smell of it!!

I love it.
Inspired by N-Tesla, I decided to wear Nahema today. I hope everyone is enjoying (or enjoyed) their respective Sundays. Take care, all.
Hi everyone, this morning i had on CK's 'EUPHORIA' but late in the afternoon I'm testing Estee Lauder's 'SENSUOUS NOIR' I'm liking this scent very much. I guess some of us BN's today are doubling our pleasure on this lovely Sunday. )
It's 5 p.m. I got up more than 12 hours ago and worked at least 9 of those hours finishing a work project. Yawn.

Just applied JM Dark Amber & Ginger Lily. DH & I will nod off early watching a movie. See you in my dream, BNers.

It's 6:50 PM and Beige is still lovely. I guess unlike others, I find the later stages and the drydown sooo beautiful, and the beginning not. I really love this scent, but will not spend $200 to own it. I'll have to do with my 4 mL sample. Perhaps a 100 mL bottle will be in my future...

I'm now switching to Cuir de Russie (new release EDT) as my SotE. Jacques Polge - thank you for your brilliance with Beige and re-formulation of CdR.
So happy that someone else is getting Beige besides me.

We are back from the trip, it is a perfume desert where we went, but otherwise it went smoothly. The River, the folliage, the paddlewheel boat boasting a sign from the times past :"All gamblers and fancy women must check with the captain before boarding at New Orleans", great Zoro's Gyros in downtown prepared by an Albanian couple and served with the side of my favorite ajvar, together time, etc. Everybody should go on short eco-educational trips like this, I am afraid.

In Karl Lagerfeld Kapsule Woody. Feeling dignified in it.
