Hola! Taking a break from a hectic schedule to start this thread.

My scent today :
Vintage Réplique(in this adorable flacon)

[Mossy, woody chypre-type frags seem to win me over these days...think '1000', Mitsouko etc etc]

Enjoy your day!

Dom, you obviously have the original and not the Long Lost Perfumes version. You've got some beautiful stuff.

Today I'm wearing TEMPORE DONNA from Laura Biagiotti

I wanted a light and cheery peach for some reason. I reached first to my ancient bottle of Cerruti 1881 thinking it would do the trick, but it came out musty and unpleasant. I doubt if I've sprayed it in 20 years. Has my old bottle turned bad, or did I have a false memory of its fragrance? I showered it away just in case.

So Tempore Donna it is, and it is doing a great job.

Milou -- congratulations on becoming a Super Member, you will see the titles will change as your post count progresses. The embarrassed emoticon is the purple one, you wanted to know.

Sestra, I have heard before that Cerruti 1881 dies after a few years of use. I can't say for sure since I have used up my 30ml back in 1996, I recall.

JoeP is before me, it means he is back home! Yeeppitee-yee-yaa-yo!

Karl Lagerfeld Kapsule Floriental for me today -- making use of the last (?) few warm days before the cool and rainy weather sets in.

Have a nice week!

Oh, my dear Wolfie, that is sooo bloody good.
I have all of the Kapsules, I adore the woody
and this one. A pity they didn't succed more
than they did. I guess the mortal masses didn't
get the whole layering concept, I dunno?

I usually go for the who's who in perfumery lol. Replique is the first one in which I smell herbs very prominently, but the vintage is a little sour smelling; not the turned perfume sour, but a rather appealing sour. Hope I'm right about this.

Cerruti 1881 sounds familiar but I've never smelt it...

Rtamara, I'm joining you in Shalimar parfum today. It's perfect, rich and glorious. Every time I wear it I always wonder why I bother with anything else.

Wish you all a good start to your week!

I've just read that it was created in 1995 so I must have bought it right at the start. It seems to have been with me forever. The write-ups say it is a light floral which smells like crisp fresh air or clean linen. Eh? Mine smelled of none of those this morning. I'll give it anothjer try when I have time to let it settle and I'm not going anywhere.

In the meantime, I'm thrilled with my gorgeous Tempore Donna

It's a no scent day for me, as my surgery is in the early afternoon. I'll put something wonderful on when I get home tonight.

Otherwise, join me in wishing my doctor a steady hand as he wields his laser to the ultimate annihilation of the stones! (Comic Con is in town, can you tell?)
Hello everyone!

It's been a few weeks since I've worn Aromatics Elixir, but I'm in a luxurious cloud of it today and it's perfect, as always.

Oh yes, best of luck with that surgery RHM, and best of luck (although I'll assume he has the skill and experience to back it up!) to your doctor!

Y'all have a wonderful day!

SNOW!!! I can't imagine! Here in the South it will be 90 again today! We're ready for some cool weather and some rain, since we are in drought conditions.

I'll be wearing Y by YSL.

Weeell, The Dreamer had kinda evaporated, and I just saw a review
of Kouros on youtube, so I got the urge to apply it at once.
I usually get into my SotE at about 4 or 5 in the afternoon, so it was
not that early for me.

My cousin and I are doin' a two person scent synchro of David Yurman across the continent. We purchased at the same time at the Boston meet-up. DY gets nooooooo love in the reviews here. Oh well, more for me and cuz.

KUmquat I finally got to test French Can Can last month and it started off great- then turned into a muddled mess on my skin...SOBS...soooo disappointed.

Last day of a long weekend- with lots of quality sniffing. Have a 6 hour drive ahead.

Take care all

Chanel No. 5 Eau Premiere
Wearing samples today. First, Bel Respiro and I'm here to say that I just love the greeness! This is what Beige smells like in the dry down to me. Also, decided to give a full wearing (right wrist) to Cristalle Eau Verte. Also lovely greeness, but not as natural smelling as Bel Respiro.

MMmmmmm.
Evening everyone. Received some samples today, and have been trying those.

Carnal Flower this morning and Musc Ravageur this evening. Prefer Musc Ravageur. I think Carnal Flower is lovely, but maybe a bit too 'big' for me.

Best wishes to RHM
