Yohji Yamamoto

Hi, I just got hold of some Yohji Yamamoto Eau de Cologne Homme 30 ml. I cant find much out about it. Does anybody know, is it a cologne strength of Yohji Homme or Yohji pour homme or something totally different? Is it discontinued like the rest? Thanks!

It has absolutely nothing to do with Yohji Homme (1999), which by the way, is a wonderful fragrance. It is sad that it has to be so rare these days. I am one of the fortunates to own a bottle, though.

Yohji Yamamoto Homme Eau de Cologne for Men, the one you got, is not discontinued to my knowledge.




---edit : I do not know how the EdC compares to Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme (2004). Eau de Cologne was released in 2005.

Top : Yuzu, Mandarin, Grapefruit, Pineapple
Middle : Leather, Suede, Geranium, Nutmeg
Base : Vetiver, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Spices, Amber

As Pigeon said, they are 2 completely different fragrances.

If you go to this page, you will see the 2 different bottles. Yohji Homme (1999) is long and cylindrical, while Yohi Yamamoto Pour Homme is a slighly curved rectangular shape.

Okay, had to check it out and, indeed the truth seems to be that there is only 2 male fragrances from Yamamoto - not three like I sort of suggested in my earlier post.

- Yohji Homme 1999 (amazing aromatic fougere with gourmand aspects)

- Yohji Yamamoto Homme Eau de Cologne, released in 2004 or 2005 depending on source (this I have never actually smelled, but I am 100% positive that it isn't EdC version of Yohji Homme, but a fragrance of it's own)

Thanks guys, bit disappointed though, thought Id got hold of the Y Y Homme that is so talked about til it arrived. Should have known better since it was a quarter the price; you dont get a bargain very often. Never mind
