Bonjour.

Today, I'm wearing Shalimar EDT from the Golden Sixties bottle I received yesterday:

A sweet textured drydown that was surprising for an EDT concentration!

No perfume as yet. I am glued to the television watching the amazing
scenes as the Chilean miners begin to be rescued. I must admit I burst into tears
when I saw no.6 coming out of the shaft and being re-united with his family,
it was so emotional.

L'Occitane Eau d'Iparie -- as inspired by Petra Ichor's post and Warum's PM a few days ago. It is love! Now that I have checked the availability, my question would be: Where do you nice people get it from? Seems like it is sold out in 125, 75 or 20ml everywhere.

Q., thanks for your explanation of the video.

E., you were smelling nice all day yesterday in both La Perlas and then in Patou. Have never had a chance to say this, so here goes.

I'm wearing Samsara by Guerlain today.

I so agree with you Kewart, I've been watching the rescue too, very emotional!

Wearing CB Scents Vetiver & Orange Blossom. It makes me want to be in Florida (waving to MikePerez).

Also feeling very moved by the Chilean miners' rescue. Thank God!

Good morning everyone!

I'm in a bit of vintage Bois des Îles parfum, plus a light mist of the current edt.

Thanks Wolfie - that's very nice of you to say! I must admit I was feeling rather pretty and pleased with myself until Fiancé said, referring to the 1000, "You're not thinking of wearing that for the wedding, are you?"...lol!

Y'all have a fantastic day!

Red Delicious by DKNY

Violette In Love...finally, a violet that I actually can wear and not just appreciate! The fragrance remains green, even during the powdery drydown. I think that "saves" it for me.

I've used up the last bit of my sample of Idylle edp today. Same impression I had the first time I wore this, loads of lily of the valley opening it.

I think I like it a bit more than I did before, but still not enough to actually buy any!

I'm also transfixed by the miners' rescue operation!

Hello everyone Had a rather interesting and challenging day at work today. Was asked by my "mentor" to call a psychiatric clinic in FRANCE and get hold of a doctor. At least the patient that it was about gave me some idea about which doctor that spoke at least a bit of english. Very proud of myself that I managed to make myself understood on first french and then a mix of both. But I was really NERVOUS! After that I also had to have two appointments with some patients alone because my "mentor" got ill. So proud of myself for actually surving the day without huge mistakes Sotd is Feminite du bois.

Congratulations on your professional successes, ineespenes! I love hearing your excitement as you embark on your career life!

I just bought the solid of Pacifica's new fragrance, Indian Coconut Nectar. The packaging is adorable. The fragrance is very subtle after the mega-coconut burst at the beginning. We'll see how it works for water aerobics. :-)

Great day all-
Philtre D'Amour tempted me today - I'm afraid I rather oversprayed for a workday (dang those bulb atomizer sprayer thingies)

Oh well! I smell divine.

Yes Kewart. It's so emotional. I haven't changed tv channel since morning.

I wanted to wear Miracle by Lancome, but i don't have it !!
Venezia Uomo today.

Siifter - lol, thanks for the compliment! You smell gorgeous too, you know. Apparently, my ballet instructor shares our love of Chanel. She mentioned my fragrance for the second time this morning and said that although she normally discourages the use of fragrance in her classes, she'll make an exception for me as long as I keep wearing Chanel (the other time she complimented me was for No.22, so I think I'll be able to adhere to her rules!)

Alas, BdI didn't survive my hot shower, so I'm feeling all rosy-cozy in Rose Kashmirie now.

Haven't decided on what I'll wear today. I will also need to pack some things to wear for a trip -- maybe some samples to test and something very comforting and uplifting for a workshop I will be giving. So I am scentless yet, but not for long.

Sorry about Eau d'Iparie being out of stock, Wolfie!

Revisiting my sample of Dzongkha by L'Artisan Parfumeur and finding the pickles and salad notes long gone, thank goodness!

Twolf, the 75ml D'Iparie is online in the UK, but I'm sure my local branch has the diddy ones on the shelf. Yell if you ever need a transatlantic restock!

Mitsuoko today, all day.

Long day.

And we had a rare earthquake (rare for OK) this morning, 9:06 am... magnitude 5.1! (they measured it at 4.5 minutes after it happened, but the OGS upgraded it to 5.1 later.) It was very short, but a sharp noisy shock that shook the building, my desk, and our nerves for just a few seconds. First one I've felt while awake, even though I lived in Seattle area for a number of years. My office building is about 2.5 miles from the epicenter, and a coworker who has a house very near the epicenter said his wife was in the shower when the quake happened and she watched the tiles cracking! (no damage here at home or at work, and no injuries reported except for a fellow who fell off his ladder when the quake hit, and broke his ankle.) Pretty exciting thing for a "hump day" otherwise busy but tedious morning.

I'm in Creed Himalaya tonight.

Checking in...my surgery Monday went very well. I'm doing great.
Busy week with my honey home for a short visit, doctor appointments, meetings at school, "drama" at school...not so much fun when the drama is coming from the adults. Beautiful weather, happy tuxie kitty cats, housing restoration project moving right along.
My STOD yesterday was YSL's "Y" edt and today was my husbands' favorite Chanel Coco edt.
RHM, you "sound" great! Glad it went well and that everything else is moving along swimmingly!

New frag purchase today: my first brand-new box of Creed:

Closest thing to my beloved long lost Heartfelt I've found: only about $120 more expensive!
Good to finally catch up; server seems to be allowing me on longer than 60 seconds at a time tonight.
