Question on giant Shalimar fan glass bottle...

I'm observing a 2.5 oz full bottle of Shalimar extrait with Marly horse logo on eBay now, but the dimensions don't seen to add up.

The seller says 2.5 fl oz is printed on the bottle, but measures 7.5 inches tall!

That can't be right coz the 2.5 oz bottle usually stands 5.75 inches tall.

Anyone knows any variations of this bottle that is more elongated(and thus taller) than the usual ones?

I hope she doesn't have the decimal places wrong, and that the bottle is actually 0.25 oz and 7.5 cm tall!

Any help is appreciated!

I don't remember any elongated bottles but that doesn't mean they don't exist.Maybe contact the seller and ask her to double-check?I wouldn't jump into a purchase,yet,anyway.

Thanks for the reply.

The seller clarified that the box is 7.5" high while the bottle is indeed 5.75" tall.

After 2 rounds of offers & counteroffers, I decided to accept a deal at £67.75

No reason to feel jealous, dear : the seller only sold toy cars before this, and when I instructed her in detail how to wrap & pack the item, she thanked me, saying it was the FIRST time she was sending perfume, & even fragile items!

So there's a little bit of risk pricing if you will.

Also, I waited as long as the Chilean miners were trapped in that mine for this opportunity to buy a nearly full vintage bottle of this design and this size.
