Or, rather, they have developed a computer-controlled car. I read this article today, and was very fascinated by it. Google has already developed a car that can be fully controlled by a computer. Not only that, but the only drawback that it has, is that it can't yet understand the meaning of the hand motions made by a traffic officer.

I don't think it said in the article, but I'm curious as to when something like this would be made available to the public. In my opinion, something this revolutionary will be at least 5-10 years, but I could be wrong. Pretty cool to think that you could just go on a road trip to Las Vegas, or wherever, and have your own personal chauffeur to drive you while you sleep, or just relax. It also seems like it would be a dream to use for people who get drunk at bars/parties, as it would reduce drunk driving accidents tremendously.

Obviously, many people, including myself, would hesitate to put our lives in the hands of a computer, but I'm assuming that the computer should theoretically be a better driver than any of us, since it's not subject to human emotions/mistakes.
