Which 6 samples do you suggest I should try? I am totally unfamiliar with this house. I am 38 and male and would love to hear your suggestions.

So far, Riverside Drive is the only one of any major significance that I've smelled.

I'm not a huge fan of the house, but I'd suggest maybe checking out Chez Bond, Riverside Drive and Bleeker St. for starters.

new haarlem is nice but i am not a fan of the rest.

Chez Bond and Wall Street if you like aquatics
Riverside drive is a nice popular one. Sort of sweet and herbal.
New Haarlem is a roasted coffee and floral, one of the best they have

Those are really the only ones I even remember being that interesting.

Central Park
HOT Always
Bleecker Steet
New Haarlem
Silver Factory

Riverside, Blecker, West Side, Hot always and New Harlem are all great scents.

Chez Bond, Gramercy Park, Bleecker Street, HOT Always, Riverside Drive are the only ones I've tried and I like all.

My top six:

Saks For Him (I recall Harrods For Him smelling really close...maybe a tad sweeter? Haven't tried the limited edition Harrods)
Bleecker Street
Riverside Drive
Silver Factory
New Haarlem
Chez Bond (unless you've already tried GIT)

I like Cooper Square, though I'm not sure it's a "must sample". Brooklyn is nice, but longevity seems to be disappointing. A few of the other masculines are also interesting, but there are designer scents that smell almost exactly the same at a far cheaper price point. Wall Street seems to be a favorite, but it (and also Millesime Imperial) smell a bit feminine to me.

Chez Bond
Riverside Drive
Great Jones
Silver Factory
New Haarlem
Saks for Him

I'm also undecided about Cooper Square - love the opening though.

Fire Island is the only mens No.9 that impressed me enough to remember what it smells like.

Well, Little Italy too but I'd rather just go get Satsuma at the Body Shop for 1/20 the price and pick up another Malle.

Absolutely agree on both points.

Also New Haarlem
Fire Island
Wall St. (didn't like at all, but seemed in the minority)

For what it's worth, the BN9 rep at my Saks was pretty generous with samples...if there is one near you, might be worth stopping in before you order online.

I like New Haarlem, Coney Island, and Chinatown (dries down a little floral for a man, but the opening is pretty cool). Not many other B#9 frags that I enjoy although I've only sampled about eight or ten different ones.

I'm with you. If I really had to come up with a second choice it would be "Hot Always", but 6 is not in the cards for this house.
