I'm feeling nutty

Lately I’ve been yearning for a ‘nutty’ fragrance.

I love Vetiver Tonka for that roasted hazelnut accord. I also love Narciso Rodriguez EDT for that warm, almost almond/nutty heart it has above the musk once the top notes subside.

Anything out there that is masculine and nutty?

Grilled roasted hazelnut like notes, supported in the realm of coffee like accords? Something oriental with coffee/cocoa/nutty notes?

Méchant Loup - honeyed hazelnuts
Bois Farine - the raw flour accord can read like peanut butter (which sounds unpromising, but I love it, and the fragrance settles to a handsome dry woody base)

I gotta agree with Mechant Loup. A huge hazelnut note with something in the base which smells like coffee, even though it isn't. It smells like somebody used a McDonald's coffee cup for a spittoon for chewing tobacco- which sounds kind of nasty, but it isn't.

Well look at that, Bois Farine - another JCE creation, I'll look into!

PS - one of my favorite jokes:

So a man walks into a psychiatrists office wearing nothing but saran/glad wrap underpants. The psychiatrist looks at him and say, "well, I can clearly see youre nuts"

Givenchy Very Irresistible may be worth checking out. Has kinda an A*Men vibe but with hazelnut.

This scent is amazing, not an icky gourmand, but a wonderfully sweet fragrance with sillage and longevity. While I may personally like darker, edgier fragrances, I have worn this - especially in cooler weather - and absolutely loved it. Antico Caruso (bows to Stylin) is so clean and almond-y it's really hard to describe, unless you get your haircuts done by an old school Italian barber. I love your illustration, Master-Classter. Bluntly put, wouldn't mind being the doctor, lol.

This one.
Méchant Loup is all about hazelnuts. I dislike the fragrance myself, but I dislike the smell of hazlenuts (or Filberts as they are known here). I think I even have a decant around here somewhere. Send me a PM and I will send it to you. Better off with someone who can appreciate it.
