in order to give of my Hermessence better longevity (and also make the content of the bottle last longer), i've resorted to mixing. for example Ambre Narguile mixes amazingly well with Marc Jacobs' Amber, itself being a sweet, yet light skin scent. i just decant some of the AN and mix it in a different flacon with Amber and get something very similar to AN, slightly less sweet and 'powerful', but since it's really strong to begin with, its final product is really good.
now i'm looking to do something similar with Vetiver Tonka, but don't know what to mix it with. i don't want to water it down completely, but want something lighter yet in a similar vein to couple it with. the vetiver frags i know tend to be a bit more on the fresh side.
anyone able and willing to help with suggestions?
