^^^ Lol. I haven't worn it in so long, what with Summer weather and all. Guess it's just sort of on the back of my mind right now. But don't worry, it'll get its fair share of skin time come the colder months.

You should do a thread of amouage perfumes reviews. Especially those attars and other limited/exclusive perfumes, they need a review

Fantastic! So many classics, congratulations, you not only have a wardrobe, you truly own a fragrance library. I am sure it helps a lot to appreciate every new release you test and to put it into historical perspective.

I LOOOVE classic perfumes!

I would really love to have a very diversed fragrance collection. Also, my goal someday, is to have a bottle (small or big) from each fragrance house I can get on.

The photos look great as they are I see youve grouped them by house/gender etc.
To add further impact, you can also group them according to colour, or even give some bottles some height.
But as far as my eyes can see... they look awesome. I could happily spend a couple of hours going through those!

Volley; Is it Amouage Silver you got there in the front? Or is it Ciel? What do you think of LP no9 ?

That's Jubilation XXV. Lp 9 is very similar to Opium pour homme but spicier. It's like the cloves are amped up a bit. It's like a gentleman's cologne. =)
Its been a while since I posted a pic of mine too.

I've done a lot of pairing down of my 'main' collection recently... that is pictured at the top.

Below is about 95% of my current Guerlain collection (I dont know what wifey has done with my large Shalimar EDP and our Insolence flacons)... my guess is that they're in her handbag!

Holy Moses, oh ma gaad, did you do something to Mr. G? Don't see him around much these days.......
Fantastic collection! I swear. I really need to try Midnight in Paris. If the new people on here AND the heavy hitters both give it praise, I don't see how I won't end up liking it. I'm so 'cited.. I just can't hide it.

Why yes! I'm currently mailing little pieces of Mr G back to his mom. He shouldn'ta stood too close to the wood-chipper!

No, it was his love of this house that opened my eyes to the fragrances of Guerlain. I owe a lot to him for it.
Thanks for the comments guys This is a rather humble collection when stacked against some other members', but she's sure pretty to look at.

CanwllCorfe, isnt that Midnight in Paris bottle just to die for?! I don't think this is a scent anyone can hate. Think Bvlgari Black meets Kenzo Power with a leather glove thrown in the mix!

Great stuff there Mistawho, and nice video as well.
I like the trend towards video displays of collections. Got the technology, why not use it? Of course we all waited for the invention of smellevision in vain years ago and now we wait for the invention of nosetube.com so we can really get a whiff of the collections. Or would it be better called usniff.com? Hmmmmmmmmmm

It really is! Being a design freak, having a nice bottle is a HUGE plus. Enjoying the fragrance just as much? Come on now. That'd just be heaven.

I may try and get a hold of my "local" Barney's or something like that and see if I can score a sample.

Thanks cmk... the purple crucifix bottles are a rare pair of scents from Australian designer Christopher Chronis "Christos Man" (with dark purple crown cap), and "Christos Woman" (with mauve opalescent caps). I have a series of these rare/discontinued miniatures for sale in the marketplace (see here):

So... two questions.

One, how do you afford all of these? O_o

Two, for people with all their fragrances on bookshelves and other high places, aren't you afraid of them falling? Or maybe that is just my earthquake paranoia because I live in California..

Definitely won't last a life time....is there going to be enough? I don't think so! hahahaha

Thank you cmk20!

By taking things veeeery slowly and avoiding impulse buys. 90% of the time I just wait until I see it going for a price I can't refuse.

Sorry, Im not sure if this is meant for me? Which one do you mean? Or are you referring to Volley2's "Habit de Fete" gold Guerlain cannister?
Sorry if this looks very indulgent, but because of the scrolling auto-size feature above (pics can only be 720pix across before the have a scrollbar), a member has asked me to post a closeup of my Guerlains. So, here they are.
