I'm not a DIY type, but I'm enjoying a fascinating exchange of letters between two master perfumers, Andy Tauer and Mandy Aftel, which is unfolding in installments on Nathan Branch's blog. The series begins here and is still in progress.

I'm guessing it will be a hit with anyone involved in composing their own fragrances.

I've got some linden blossom and some australian sandalwood, so it will be fascinating to see what they do with them. Linden blossom is a really hard smell to manage nicely.
