Is Axe back in the cologne game?

Say what you want about the body sprays, but there are a few Axe scents that are far from terrible, and that--if they lasted more than 45 minutes--would be totally wearable on a day-to-day basis. Axe created a cologne--Axe Lab--that was quickly discontinued, but I've been seeing more and more of stuff like the following popping up on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/AXE-Mens-Fragran...item5639a79465

appears to be from Japan, axe-scented, labeled as cologne, and priced higher than the normal body spray. Anyone know if this stuff is legit? If nothing else, the description on the auction is pretty hilarious

Sincerely, i don`t care, their body sprays and scents are just nasty for me. The one based on musk was the worst one from all their deodorant line.

lol Axe. I hope they stay on supermarket shelves forever, instead of standing next to real fragrance. (or they can disappear for good)

The only place to use Axe is at the gym, where Axe > Male Body Odour.

I may just be nostalgic since Axe Kilo--along with Michael Jordan cologne and CKOne--carried me through junior highschool, but if there was an Axe Kilo EDT/EDP, I would buy it in a second. I've read similar declarations in other threads on this board, and general consensus is that there is nothing out there especially similar to it. I've never tried Amber or the chocolate one (both newer than the axe originals), but they're supposedly not half-bad either.

Heres a funny thread I found on Axe
http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/.../t-280724.html

Here's a sample:
"For those of you not familiar, there is this product called Axe Body Spray
which is marketed as some kind of deoderant love juice for men.
Well, I happened to get ahold of a couple sample bottles and you know what? It works!!
As girl repellant."

Also this from basenotes:
http://www.basenotes.net/content/564...(-330)-on-eBay
"We're used to seeing vintage bottles of Guerlain and Caron fetch a pretty penny on eBay, but yesterday a twenty year old bottle of Lynx aftershave (known as Axe in the US, France and elsewhere) named Tempest fetched a whopping £210 ($330)."
