Morning all! My skin has finally cracked under all the chemicals, so today I'm wearing an oil. Specifically, Vetiver by Jalaine. It's warm grass with a touch of amber. Very enjoyable!

I have just applied some Perla La Perla which I
bought off e-bay. I am not sure if I like it or not, as
I have a virus and can't smell much at the moment!
I seems quite strong and aldehydic.

My SOTD is Tom Ford Purple Patchouli, plus I am wearing the color purple for Spirit Day - to show my support of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth and remember those teens who have taken their own lives as a result of anti-LGBT bullying.

Notes include orchid accord, citrus, purple patchouli accord, leather, amber, vetiver, Peru balsam and spices.

Good morning, all! I'm test driving Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille today, from a sample. I've only had it on about 10 minutes, but the tobacco seems to be gone. The vanilla is nice, though.

Gale Hayman's Delicious Cotton Candy on this rainy gray day.

Good morning everyone!

Today I'm wearing Holygrace by Comme de Garcons.
With notes of bergamot, pink pepper, purple ginger, cardamom,
jasmine, insense, broom, red pepper, vanilla, amber,
vetiver and styrax

I am in Havana Vanille today.
Chanel's Coromandel for me today - truely one of my favorites that could just about be as close to THE ONE as any that I have smelled. Although, mind you, I can't wear just one It's a little earthy, but mostly just smooth, warm and oh so easy to wear, like wearing a silk blouse with worn jeans. Don't tell Coco - she would cringe at the mere mention of that outfit graced with one of her perfumes.
Petruccijc, I have not heard about Spirit Day, and will wear something purple today. The bullying seems to have escalated lately. It has to stop!

Today I'll be wearing Mitsouko.
Have to wear something easy on the nose today as I am elder-sitting a friend's mother for a few hours. Something no old lady should mind much.
Hmm....

Got it: Highland Lilac of Rochester.

Poivre 23 by Le Labo

A friend and I spent last night sampling a ton of fragrances in my wardrobe, and when he sprayed this one on a test strip and I caught a whiff of it, I realized how much I love this scent. I'm starting to smell how sweet it is, for a pepper prominent scent - sort of like a black pepper pie, if that makes sense. The incense just smolders all day long too. Big love for this one.
Good Morning ALL. My SOTD is Chanel's 'COCO MADEMOSEILLE' and La Maison's 'Vanille divine des Tropiques', love these two together. yummm...
No bullying -- except by Miss Piggy, of course, because she does it with class and for a good cause (herself).

Ready for a strong scent: 24, Faubourg.

Someone committed fraud with our charge card number yesterday, so we had to terminate it. Today I get to rearrange automatic billing for the newspaper, phone, internet service, and other things. I don't understand the criminal mind.

I'm sorry Quarry! That stinks! Nasty barstids, may they get what they deserve.

I'm trying to give Kuumba Made Egyptian Musk oil another try, but I get nada. Just a rooty/twiggy smell, like something I dug up from the soil. Is it my sniffer or what? Anybody else try this one?

Vintage Ambush by Dana thanks to 30 roses who send me a sample.
(in the cutest star studded little gift bag!)

I feel for you, it's happened to me before. What a freakin hassle!

I'm in Arpege today, but am thinking of switching to Tauer Eau d'Epices in a bit. The Arpege doesn't last more than a few hours on me.

Adding my hugs for Quarry. We also had this happen and I agree about the barstids (LOL, lilybelle!) and the freakin hassle.

I am in my favorite purple sweatshirt, though I might change into my comfy purple dress in a few hours to go to the hospital. I know that many of us are praying for an end to bullying and needless tragedy among our young people, but I'm requesting additional prayers and positive thoughts for my sister-in-law. She has had a heart condition since childhood and recently has been awaiting a heart transplant. We got a call from her this morning – a heart is on its way and surgery is supposed to be underway at any moment! This is very exciting but also scary, as you might imagine.

My SotD is the joyful and purple Stephen Jones by Comme des Garcons.

Tom Ford Black Orchid

Andy Tauer's Un Rose Chypree - still loving this rich traditional chypre.

Wow. All positive vibes to your family and the surgeon's team, and a grateful spiritual note to the donor soul.

Haunani, my thoughts and prayers are with your sister-in-law and your whole family. Hope everything goes well.
Quarry, , so sorry to hear about the card fraud, we've had it happen too, it's a huge pain to change everything.

SotA will be L'Instant Magic by Guerlain, one of my favorites. With notes of freesia, musk, bergamot, cedar, sandalwood,
almond notes and rose.
SOTD: Odalisque

Is it the older formulation or new? I don't know. I bought it just around the time of the change-over. I know that I like it, regardless.

Haunani - I will be thinking about your family and your SIL, especially. I hope it goes well.
Quarry - Those cc thieves are just SCUM. I hope that you were able to sort out as much of the mess as possible.

Hugs to all!

Haunani
, your family will be in my thoughts. I hope everything will go well.

My sotd was Bandit today.

I opened a Bandit extrait bottle I had bought a lot time ago and I am so disappointed .
It is sharp and smells exactly like the edp. Nothing like my previous bottle of Bandit extrait with the smoothness I love... And now it is too late to give it back...
Goodness, a lot has happened today!

Haunani, prayers for your sister in law!

Quarry, what a huge drag! People who harm others for their own selfish pursuits are truly the dregs. I have to think they lack the ability to feel empathy for their victims, but then one wonders, how did they become that way? Or were they simply born that way?
Studies show that about 4% of the population are sociopaths. I used to work with one-- a pathological liar. Those of us who worked with her daily had her number quickly, but it took a while longer for her bosses to catch on-- and when they did, she was escorted from the building by Security.

Right behind you
Wearing purple and one of my most "purple" scents, ARMANI PRIVÉ CUIR AMÉTHYSTE today.

Haunani, thinking of your SIL and sending out special prayers for the donor and donor's family.

Quarry, we had someone hack one of our credit cards this week too. Luckily, we didn't use it for any day-to-day uses and the CC company caught it early.
Oh Gosh, did not know we were supposed to wear purple too. "When I grow old I shall wear purple" -- or is it how it goes? No objection, I like purple -- lavenders, lilacs, eggplants, violets -- all good stuff.

(((Q., hugs!)))

Testing some Essentually Me fragrances that the mailbox offered.
Quarry, Haunani, hugs to you both. And hugs to anyone else who needs/needed 'em today... I guess I'm just in a "huggy" mood!

Today, all day, I was in Habit Rouge EDP (and just coincidentally wearing a wine-purple turtleneck)
Hey again -

I'm in Bois des Iles now, narrowing down my wedding day choice.

Haunani - best wishes to your SIL and your family. I have a nine-year-old nephew who will be needing a new heart in the next several years, so I know it's an agonizing and angst-filled situation. I hope everything goes alright and you all will finally have some relief.

And more hugs to you, Quarry. That really sucks!
Haunani - I hope all goes well with the surgery. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Quarry - I know how you feel. Someone made an unauthorized charge on my credit card this week. It is so damn maddening and frustrating!
Guerlain With Love today.
I'll go to bed wearing L'Air du Temps!

Nighty night everyone!
