Gucci Pour Homme II by Gucci

This fragrance, created by Karine Dubreuil in 2007, opens with fresh notes of violet leaf and bergamot. Very soon the green-fruity opening transitions to the spicy notes of the heart: red hot chili pepper, pimento, cinnamon and black tea. The base is comprised of olive tree wood, tobacco leaves, musk and myrtle.

Molinard Homme I (1996) Fougère
------------------
Top Notes: Clove, Chinese Geranium, Lavender, Myrrh Middle Notes: Mint, Virginia Cedar, Guaiac Wood Base Notes: Oakmoss, Vetiver, Patchouli, Labdanum
------------------
A nice, typical masculine from Molinard. This is a kind of hybrid between chypre and fougère, without being either: it has the lavender and oakmoss of a fougère, but lacks the expected tonka bean; it has the oakmoss and labdanum of a chypre, but none of the chypre top note of bergamot. Still it does very well as a quiet, unassuming sort of scent, perfect for the workplace, where those sorts of values are appreciated. It does equally well if one is in a contemplative mood, or is in need of soothing reassurance. Well made and pleasant, but not meant to be exciting. That's cool by me, sometimes sometimes it's exactly what I'd like.

Well I am delicious and a queen. But I burst out of the closet, in my best slinky dress and heels, years ago.
