What do you take?

Bible, glasses, mirror, just like Hednic.

Surfing

If you could relive life again as any non-human creature, which would you choose?
I am sorry, lilybelle and hednic, but I am not religious, and I have to ask the significance of the "mirror" you both 'chose'; these aliens have the power to reflect your image, surely.

I would be an eagle.
I wish I had learned to dance... or at least danced.
What faith system, other than your own, do you respect most? Why?
Buddhism because I find it interesting, mysterious and peaceful.

Which material natural or man-made gives you tactile satisfaction and pleasure?

I will take a bottle of Aventus, by CREED. But only momentarily.

Because my wife will gladly vacation in whatever exotic destination the devious extraterrestrials want her to go, she will eagerly head off to the big reservation in the sky. But not this cowboy. Realizing that our "benefactors" actually undermined human society, resulting in our entire dilemma, I choose to stay behind and fight for justice and the land. I will scrap to survive amidst the giant mining machines, seeking hiding places among the mountains of mine tailings and in the shadow of the robotic factories, along with the cunning Earth animals. Even though the materialist aliens think they are getting the best of the deal by robbing the planet of its mineral wealth, while humans party with them in some intergalactic shopping mall, when the aliens finally abandon the ravaged planet, Earth's native life will return, according to the plans of the Universe itself.

Thus, using my Aventus, with its awesome powers of olfactory seduction, I will convince one or more adventurous women to join my crazy plan, and together we will bolt out of the line to the intergalactic boxcars.

I will offer a salute to Hednic and lilybelle as they blast off, but I will be keeping both my gun and my Bible, thank you! (And a mirror, for shooting around corners. )

Almost all of them! Satin, velvet, leather, rubber, polished stone, rough stone, cold water, brushed metal, polished metal, bark, sanded wood - I love all surfaces and textures! (And I'm leaving out human skin - the obvious!)

Upright piano, grand piano, organ, electric organ, or synthesizer? Name your favorite keyboard!
From a performance standpoint, it can't be anything but a grand. If I were composing or screwing around, synths all the way even though a keyboard would be easier (lol).

What is your favorite animated cartoon/show?
the harpsichord.
honestly, I love harpsichords and clavichords.

but from your list, the pipe organ jumps out. such a special flavor that nothing can compare to.

What is your favorite nostalgia music?
Oh Darn!
My favorite cartoon program (currently airing) is Southpark.

Favorite Nostalgia music? Or show?

A Japanese anime called Samurai Champloo. It's something of a hipster jidaigeki. Beyond the graphics, there is a certain hip historical smartness that I love.

I love the musical score from "O Brother Where Art Thou?". It makes me nostalgic for a time that I shouldn't actually be nostalgic for.

Same question!!!

For me it's a toss up between Georgian: ყოველი საიდუმლოჲ ამას ენასა შინა დამარხულ არს and Amharic: አፄ ቲዎድሮስ መቅደላ አፋፍ ላይ ጩህት በረከተ – ወንድወሰን ሰብስቤ

How long do you think you could remain silent without speaking?

I think a very long time, but I don't want to find out.

And Malaylam:

Cats! They have character, are relatively untamed, don't need as much care as dogs, have softer fur, don't smell bad, are elegant and I have been raised with a friendly cat in the house.

A horse, a camel & a dog (as a child...)

(1) Because manufacturers know better!

and...

(2) Because altering our perceptions isn't just a job for overt advertising!

What is the highest extent to which you have taken advantage of your speedometer (i.e., highest speed relative to your speedometer's limit)?
Probably 95

What aspect of social life/convention do you find yourself conforming to, even though it goes against your nature?
Flattery of my clients. Urgghhh. Sometimes I feel so diiirrrty.

Redneck, thanks for making my alien question into a dark saga. I laughed so hard I cried!

My exes by profession, are a general practitioner, a comic book illustrator, a mechanical engineer, a software developer, and the last (and actually first), very beloved, died very recently; he'd been a heroin junkie for many years.

What advice would you give to someone who has suddenly lost his or her job after being with an outfit for more than 20 years?
I think it would depend on what field he or she had been working in, but still, I'd probably say it might be a good idea to find a job even temporarily - in a kind of work they enjoyed, even if it didn't pay all that well - while looking for something better.

Which song is difficult for you to listen to for the bad memories associated with it?
Not because the memories are bad, but 'I Have a Dream' by ABBA is difficult for me to listen to. My late father liked ABBA, and that was his favourite song. It just reminds me of how much I still miss him, even though he has been gone for over 20 years.

Same q.

I'm not 100% certain but I think it might have been Skinny Dip splash. Nope, I lied. It was a mini of Miss Dior with a herringbone hat on the cap. Given to me by a sales assistant in a duty free perfume shop to distract me while my mother spent a bundle.
