A couple of months ago I discovered the vast selection fragrances. I'm 21 and in college I notice very few people wearing any form of cologne. Also, I've only smelled La nuit de L'homme on a guy I passed by once. Which leads me to wonder when guys in particular generally start wearing cologne since it is not as mainstream/popular as other things?
Next thing I've been wondering is what it took for people to get beyond their very first uninformed bottle purchase. It isn't a surprise that anyone can walk into macys / sephora and buy a bottle of Acqua di Gio because they liked the top notes and never look back. What makes me curious is how for some that initial purchase can turn into a massive 100+ bottle fragrance collection while other ADG will be there signature scent until death. (nothing against people that prefer ADG)
One random day during the summer break of my junior year in college I randomly searched on google for top 10 / popular colognes because I figured AXE in college would no longer cut it and wanted something that'll last longer. I saw many top 10 lists and so I took to youtube and did various searches and it was there that I found many of the popular fragrance reviewers. After that I just did more searches and eventually discovered Basenotes and Fragrantica. What's your story ?

A lot of that stuff would be considered "vintage" formulations today.

From that point on I have gotten hooked. The employees at Sephora are probably getting annoyed at me coming in every other day just to spray every bottle on the shelf. In the matter of 2 mos. I've already got 9 frags in my wardrobe...and there's still a whole lot more out there I want. Bigdiscountfragrances.com is loving me right now
