Great florals with monster sillage and long lasting?

I'm looking for that perfect floral that screams flower garden that will last all day. I"m a little bothered by aldehydes so if they are in the perfume please make sure their on the quiet side, no Estee lauder White Linen ( to me this is big aldehyde ).

What floral last all day on you?

Fracas

The most overwhelming was Scandal by Roja Dove I found. Tuberose is something I can not stand when being centered like here. Scandal SCREAMS... and it so hard to get rid off as well...

+1 for Fracas. Also my other two tuberose loves; Carnal Flower by Malle & Beyond Love by By Kilian. All of these have amazing sillage & longevity, & no aldehydes involved!

Thanks I'll have to look them up and read about them.

Any 80s floral would do the trick.

I like my florals to smell truly flowery and find success with Henry Dunay Sabi and Michael Storer Stephanie (a gardenia).

Pure Poison lasts forever.....

En Passant- Les Éditions Frédéric Malle. Big lilac floral that lasts and lasts and has wonderful sillage.
Another is Creed-Fleurissimo which is deliciously floral and has tenacious staying power, also Creed- Fantasia de Fleurs .

Donna Karan Gold is a lovely floral based on lily. It has excellent sillage and staying power.

First scent that hit me was Fracas, but also Paris, Pleasures ,Champs Elysees and Poison ( even though there's plenty of other things going on there too but tuberose)

Agree on Fracas and Amarige, they will last all day.

Youth Dew, Tabu and are darker flowers that last all day too.

Sublime and Joy parfum by Patou can last all day as well.

cheers

More votes for Amarige and Joy. Gorgeous

Get some Lancôme PÔEME! :-D
Supersillage and looong lasting!
A often complimented perfume.

Agree on Amarige, Gold and Fracas, too. Might add Organza.

Insolence EDP by Guerlain is pretty epic in its scope. I try and put the world's tiniest sprays on 'cos it's so strong. It's fantastic but it is a bit full on. Great if you like violets. Flipping awful if you don't 'cos you and everyone around you will be smelling them all day.

I also agree that Amarige, Fracas and indeed most scents that use Tuberose as their dominant note seem to be pretty huge.

Second Henry Dunay Sabi and Donna Karan Gold as two you might want to look at. I would add the following:

DelRae Amoureuse
Caron Narcisse Noir
Malle Une Rose
Boucheron for Women

All gorgeous and BIG.

YSL Paris is juicy rose and violet, projects for miles, and does not wash off.

JOY is wonderful, but if you dislike aldehydes, only try the pure parfum concentration. It's expensive, but glorious.

Amouage GOLD and Dia

Frederic Malle Carnal Flower, not an aldehyde anywhere.

Isabey Gardenia (heady white floral)

I also like FM En Passant, but find it's longevity to be seriously lacking.

And I agree with the above post re: 80's florals. Go have fun at the mall/sephora!!

Great suggestions! Une Rose by Malle is wonderful , as said. Two sprays pulsated on me till the next morning .

Jardins de Bagatelle by Guerlain; flower garden all day long.

So, Rizack, did you find one you like yet? Would love to hear back about it, if so.
Fracas, original Carolina Herrera, Bulgari Pour femme
post #32 of 34
Nobody mentioned Estée Lauder Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia... Big, bold and beautiful!!
+1 for Amarige Carnal Flower, and Paris.

For something other than tuberose, 2 big jasmines that come to mind are Serge Lutens A la Nuit and Thierry Mugler's Alien (although Alien has more going on than just floral....).

I've also found Serge's Fleurs d'Oranger to have pretty amazing staying power although sillage varies for me depending on the weather/humidity.

+1 to Karan Gold.

But the best floral for me, that fits the topic`s description is L. Ashley 1.
