Mature Men (45+ ) What are your top 3 fragrances?

Thread Starter
What the title says.

And blatant crib from the 'Young Men' Thread

Let's make this thread organized. Please post your current top list in this format:

Age: 50 / Early 50's (if you don't want to specify your exact age)

1. Creed Bois de Portugal

2. Chanel Antaeus

3. Comme De Garcons 2 Man

Looking forward to all your responses, Fellow Real Men.
Age: 45

1. Paul Smith Extreme
2 Bond No. 9 Riverside Drive
3. Ted Baker Endurance
Age: 45+

At this moment they are:

1. Vintage Tabarome
2. Bois du Portugal
3. Neroli Sauvage

All by Creed. But I am very fickle about top whatever lists. I could name a top 100 fairly easily. Fragrance promiscuity, you might say.
I'm 54, I've worn fragrances for a long time, and have a very large wardrobe. For me it doesn't get any better than Chanel Pour Monsieur, Dior Eau Sauvage, and Guerlain Vetiver.
1.Bois du Portugal.
2.Kouros
3.Aramis Tuscany
1. Genghis Khan
2. Siecle
3. Gatsby
I'm 49. My top three are Creed Windsor, L'Occitane Eau des Baux and Terre d'Hermes
post #8 of 92
62

Sorry, but I have to list four.

Ungaro III
Bogart One Man Show
Guerlain Vetiver
Creed Silver Mountain Water
Is that what I am? "Mature?" Some would say anything but!

1 Arrogance
2 Irritation
3 Antaeus
I'm 48...mature? Questionable.
Fragrances are like an amusement park for me. I like to try just about all the rides out, but now that I've gotten older, I tend not to go on the spinning rides as much. Spining rides might be something like Black XS, Abercrombie, Pi and so on.

My top 3 as of late:
Tom Ford-Tobacco Vanille
Nasomatto-Hindu Grass
L'Artisan-Dzing!

I do love Creed Bois de Portugal, but haven't been wearing as much lately. Guerlain Vetiver and Eau Sauvage will be with me for life.
For me to list just 3 is difficult, so I'll name 3 that I own in my wardrobe. I no longer own Patou Pour Homme, so I'll leave that one out.

I'll very soon be 54 and sample quite a bit before adding to the drobe.

#1. Aigner Super Fragrance for Men

#2. Monsieur Carven

#3. Gucci Pour Homme circa 1976
Like PerfumeCollector I need to list 4; in no particular order:

Amouage Dia for Men

Santa Maria Novella\tAcqua di Cuba

Truefitt & Hill Grafton

Lalique Encre Noire
Lorenzo Villoresi Uomo
Floris 89
Vintage Tabarome

Ye Gods, Noggs! That IS a wardrobe!

I'm 51. My three are Bois du Portugal, Jubilation XXV and the wonderful, underrated Green Valley.
I have so many I truly enjoy, I have a tough time picking three. But I'll pick three (uh, four) that I feel are somewhat easier for a man over 45 to wear and revel in being over 45.

Vintage Tabarome
Trumpers Eucris
Habit Rouge Beau Cavalier
Santos de Cartier Concentre

2. Eau d'Orange Verte
3. Tea For Two
Frankly, many of the frags being listed just illustrate Basenoters of any age just wear whatever they want.

Only a handful of scents being listed are the ones typically bashed as "too mature."
1) Harrod's Limited Ed. Oud
2) Rose 31 Le Labo
3) Avignon, Comme des Garcons
4) Escentric 01

I had to list 4 to include my favorite fresh scent right now Escentric 01.
I am 62. I'm not sure how "mature" I am though.
44.99 (I am so close)

Hehehe. Actually prefer to be in the company of the older guys, don't feel like every post is going to be judged during the rapture. Older guys tend to give way more, close an eye.

Kevin said he was 90 last year on an age thread. He is 100 this year. So forgetful, Kevin.

*Peace* I'm just feeling quite high in spirits today!

Dunhill Edition
C&S Cuba
Hermes Bel Ami (vintage)
I don't believe in top three, as my preferences are subject to climate, time of the year, and 100 other circumstances. However, some of my constants are:

Day time: Eau d'Hermes / Mosieur de Givenchy or a really light classic cologne

Sunset and later
: Nicolai New York / Knize Ten / Arabie

Special Occasions
: Black Aoud / Mitsouko / Bandit (the original where incense is predominant)

and... Kouros, of course !

Well, I'm still under 61! I think my all-time no. 1 is Guerlain Habit Rouge (I have EDT and EDC). Runners up: Lutens Fille en Aiguilles, and Guerlain Vetiver. New addition and gaining fast is Urbano Rock Crystal.

With that selection you either are a very young brat or a really really really inmature old fart
post #50 of 92
Guerlain Vetiver
Jo Malone Grapefruit
Penhaligons English-fern
I could live with these if push came to shove.

1. Sous le Vent - I get a citrus Eau de Guerlain blast in the opening then a breezy, herbal chypre all in one.
2. Patou Pour Homme - while it lasts . . .
3. Santal Noble I have to have a sandalwood at hand.

Others: Villoresi Uomo, Amouage Homage, and a decent EDC Eau du Coq, Eau de Guerlain, Cologne du Parfumeur, Villoresi AdC . . .
Age: Mid-century, modern.
1: Ambre 114
2: Muscs Koublaï Khän
3: Habit Rouge
Age: 47

3?????

Dear God how hard is that!!!

I'll have a stab at it

Hammam Bouquet
Cartier Santos Concentree
Le Labo Rose 31

But there are about 20 others pushing me for their attention, three is just too small a number. I could swap those three quite happily with

Caron 3rd Man
Ungaro III
Heritage

Seriously, I could do this for ages and rarely hit the same three.
Giorgio for Men
Vintage Tabarome
Czech & Speake No.88
