ELd'O Fat Electician.....2nd test wearing out of my sample. Very nice on this bitterly cold day by North Mississippi standards. It was 15 degrees F when I left for work at 4:00 am.

Verveine (Heeley)

However, last night I sprayed a bit of Dominique Ropion's new Portrait of a Lady (Frédéric Malle) on my wrist, and even after showering and putting on Verveine, that's pretty much all I can smell.

For my SotE I'm going to a church pageant to see my adopted little sis.

Considering wearing either Montale Wild Aoud or Red Vetyver.....if I wear the Wild Aoud people in the small Baptist church are going to wonder who let an incense burning Catholic in

SotE Opium pour Homme EdT. I bought it last summer, totally against conventional wisdom for this fragrance, and wore it several times to a local swimming pool. No kidding, it smells great in the summer, next to the pool water, suntan lotion, etc. So I finally got around to wearing it in the winter, and damn, all I can think of is the pool, and the amazingly hot women who hang around that pool. Intense scent memories of the most unexpected variety.

Givenchy Vetyver
This morning it was:

Vetyver by Givenchy (from a sample - thanks turquoisewater)

This afternoon it was:

Fille en Aiguilles by Serge Lutens

It was an incredibly busy day at the office, and these two scents really helped out a lot to...soften those crazy moments throughout the day. I love it when fragrances can do that for me.
