Ambre Sultan..would be a good choice?

I think I'll order Ambre Sultan and I would like a little help from you, those relating to the description. I've heard that it's one of the best kind, with hints of spices.

-is this a feminine sweety vanillic fragrance
-for what ages is appropriate
-for what style is appropriate
-times that can be worn
-is it tedious and become easily bored
-is it dear to others
-what smell reminds generally

...are some of my questions.

However I have read very good reviews!!

This one is a must try before you buy as it is NOT imo a mainstream anyone can wear fragrance. The opening smells like kitchen spices before you get to the lovely amber. It's not for everyone unless you like gambling with your money.

I had tried it sometime ago on me and I remember only that I was like it. Just, I do not have the opportunity to try again, to remember it..

-is this a feminine sweety vanillic fragrance

No. It is sweet, but not as sweet as most amber fragrances and not necessarily feminine. The sweetness is balanced by the herbs and spices, and the benzoin gives it a bit of an edge.

-for what ages is appropriate

All ages, but most people might say that it is more appropriate for older people. I'd say fine for late teenagers and up.

-for what style is appropriate

Casual or formal, day or night. Quite versatile IMO.

-times that can be worn

Anytime, but better in cooler weather.

-is it tedious and become easily bored

No, but if you wear it every day you might get tired of it after a while.

-is it dear to others

Yes. I believe many people really like this fragrance. Amber fragrances are pretty popular now, and Ambre Sultan is one of the best.

-what smell reminds generally

Other amber fragrances in general, but Ambre Sultan contains more herbal and spicy notes which set it apart. Most other ambers are sweeter or softer or contain more vanilla or boozy notes. Although unisex, this is an excellent choice for a man.

Thanks guys .. wait for more opinions

First of all, I have read opinions on it that range from "nasty christmas pudding" to "sensual, spicy amber, that has yet to be outperformed on it's playing field".
I tend to agree with the latter.

Answering your questions:

-is this a feminine sweety vanillic fragrance

No. I dont consider it feminine. It's a sweet spicy amber but vanilla aint uberprominent at all. The spice and saltiness prevent it from being genderlabelled IMO.

-for what ages is appropriate

I dont think age matters in this case (nor in any other though, but for the sake of your question I'l answer the way I think you are looking for).
You will people who approve and people who disapprove of this frag throughough ages.

-for what style is appropriate

Hm. Style? I'd say anyone who wants to put out an oriental, sensual INTENSE vibe and is confident enough to wear prominent perfumes. No point in wearing this one as a muted background player. Goes for any occasion in winter IMO (although people have said they also and especially like it in the summer).

-times that can be worn

See above

-is it tedious and become easily bored

NO! Definitely not. I find new aspect of it every time I wear it!

-is it dear to others

I absolutely love it and get generally neutral to positive feedback on it.

-what smell reminds generally

See all above

Hope I was of help.

No. Amber frags can fall into that trap, yes. With AS, SL absolutely avoids that stereotype, seems to flee from it.

I think it is not a young person's fragrance, but maybe 20s+.

I find it somewhat more casual.

I personally think that amber-centric fragrances are best for evening. And the hot, dry spices in AS make it best for cooler weather, IMHO.

What I think I is is very unique and very strong and very polar. I think it would be very tiring if worn everyday.

-is it dear to others

I like it. I don't think I would call it dear.

My experience is very limited. In my limited exprience, it is unique.

Fortunately, if you go to SL's website and punch in your address, they will promptly send you a generous sample for free.

Your Scent Jet printer just prints it out for you.... were that it were true. Seriously, they send it to you in the mail. And they do so even without you making any purchase.

However, I can not tell where you are physical located, so I can not promise that this will be true for you. If you are not in the US, you will have to enter your address and see if they can send one to you or not.
