Thanks bro. I've never even seen it advertised.
80 euros at the duty free at the Airport of Malaga. Don't get me wrong, it's not "that" expensive. It's expensive for what Del Pozo use to release (from 30 to 45 €). High price, low availability and difficult to get (only at Malaga Airport and Marbella's El Corte Inglés). It's a nice smell but i don't find it superior to other scents I own/know so i don't see many reasons to get it, not while it's distribution is so limited.
I find it somewhat silly that they're marketing a perfume called "Arabian Nights" (in English) in the Arab market. It is as if they sold a fragrance called "Spanish Cologne" or "Eau d'Espagne" here in Spain. I mean, it would make a cliché exotic kind of sense if they sold that one outside Spain, but IN Spain, it would be pretty clumsy IMO.

I´ll give you one great reason: to wear a refined take on a very natural and spicy Oud, well blended with rose and thyme.
wear it !!, only one whole evening (not from vial) , and then tell me!!

P.S. Black Aoud (to take an example) is not refined and I feel the Oud in it very gaseous. IMHO.

What's with the fracking spam?
That was bizarre...

Wearing this again, no too much to add, all i get is incense in the drydown. It's not bad, it's a good fragrance, but i'm not in the mood for it, it doesn't push the genre or anything. I'd get Aoud Damascus first, but that's my opinion, others may differ. Problem is the lack of a proper distribution will make sampling very hard to other basenotes. I've been lucky and a good friend of mine, a fellow basenoter, has been kind enough to send me a few mls before i get to the Airport. I won't get it but i'm thankful anyway. ... maybe when Del Pozo (RIP) Industries release it as other member of its fragrance line up. So far I won't go through all the trouble just to buy it.

It seems to me an exquisite fragrance, beautifully rich in spices, that precisely contribute to give to its genre a realistic perfume ; a genre with many examples inflated with Aoud (more or less realistic) without the texture of a real perfume.
anyway I´m very proud to know appreciate its wonderfull smell.

Me too. All my questions about this fragrance have now been answered in one teeny, succinct, and absolutely to the point post. Not for me discussions about notes, longevity etc. Just give me the lowdown on availability of cellphones for seniors, though it isn't quite made clear whether it's the phones or the seniors that are from China, and now my brow is furrowed in pondering that conundrum.

Like your style, AromiErotici.

Yes, more or less, 81 € is what I saw, and 97 for Arabian Nights for Women, which, in my opinion, was less interesting than the "for men" edition.
well ....I talk from firsthand about El Corte Inglés Marbella. (a local department store)

there, It is 122$ ( 90 €), others, probably talk about the price in the duty free of Malaga airport which everyone knows that manage different prices as well as different availabilities of stock than Local stores that theoretically set the official price.

In the official store of Jesus del Pozo in Madrid, the price is 90 euros
I let you Know that several posts before, I always talked about the store prices that always set the official prices.
Everybody knows that airport prices are not representatives.
That bottle is gorgeous. Do I really have to travel to the middle east to try it and see the bottle in person? /:
Afraid so..or else Malaga Spain!
From my personal telephone contact with the Jesus Del Pozo public relations manager......As said before..only at Malaga Airport or El Corte Ingles Marbella...Middle East countries. It was also confirmed that they do not control the pricing..they only suggest a selling price which is 120 Euros..and at what price they sell is up to them..Therefore at Malaga airport you will find this at 81.50 Euros the 100ml bottle.(I bought one)....elsewhere it may be more..but definately this seems to be the best price! I see its also sold on souq.com for 200..to 300 AED.As far as Duty Free selling at cheaper prices in general...not necessarily to me..From my experience I have found fragrances cheaper at our main big Perfume shop ..which has sales at 25% off all fragrances on a regular basis..so duty free is more expensive to me if not the same as in shops here at least..I think Duty Free is worth it for those on trans Atlantic flights etc(outside of EU) as explained to me by the personnel at Duty Free..unless there is a special going on.Really its a matter of luck as well.In any case..good luck getting Arabian Nights!!
Carlita, you're right, Duty Free's are not always cheaper. I've had similar experiences, local stores with discounts here and there have better prices. Today i've seen Terre Pure Parfum at 70€, Dute Free's was 78 at best.

Some friends I know are getting Arabian Nights at any Corte Inglés in Spain, you ask the SA to bring it from Marbella and it's done. Others are contacting Jesús del Pozo in Madrid, the ship it too. Don't know if they do international shipping though.
Greetings!.THxs for your post....As far as the public relations manager in Madrid told me they do not ship it to you,but maybe that has changed?I do not know...But I have my bottle so happy about that!! I tried the womans version in Malaga duty free but I did not like it at all.The men's is much..much better and easily could be a unisex scent.I was reading about Angel Schlesser's Oriental fragrance..both for men and women.Have you tried this??
I've tried some Schlesser's but I haven't seen Oriental Dream or Oriental Edition anywhere. I'll look for it next time i go shopping, and i'll give you my impressions.
Latest Schlesser's releases (flor de naranjo and madera de naranjo) are available anywhere and are not expensive. These Oriental's i've yet to see one.

A friend of mine (basenoter Yenfri) called them and they said the shipped everywhere in Spain. Maybe you asked about international shipping. Anyway, if there's something I can help you with, just ask,
post #98 of 110
Thxs! Hmm..maybe Oriental Dream and Oriental Edition were for Middle Eastern market as well??I do not remember see it around either when I was in Malaga..If you come across and test it let me know what you think.I have read good reviews about them.
By the way..I adore Spain!! I try every year to get to Malaga or Madrid where I have family friends...
$130.
Ok, the problem is still to be able to sample it, it seems. I am a sucker for oud, but I don't want to risk this one being similar to M7, which I don't like, and blind buys are ruining me...
Update: Thanks to a very nice fellow B'noter, I was able to sample this one. I find it a cross between a Montale (say, Louban or Black Aoud, for example) and M7. It has a very gentle oud note, as M7 has, but I find Arabian Nights better balanced. It's not as spice cabinet-ish as M7, which always bugged me a little. It is a straightforward but elegant oriental, and has quite a magical sillage in the first couple of hours. As others have said, it may not be the most original composition, but I can imagine reaching for this whenever I need an oud fragrance (which is often) but don't want to stink all over the place. I give this a big thumbs up.
^ Thanks for sharing your thoughts Lloyd. Hope some bottles make their way across the Atlantic.
Hi, does anyone know where I can get this fragrance from? I'm from the UK is there any way it can be posted to the UK (I'd pay pay for shipping costs and the fragrance itself) ?!
They have it at the Jesús del Pozo boutique in Madrid. Maybe you could call them and see if you can get it shipped to you.
Renewing this thread...I received a sample of J del Pozo's Arabian Nights, and It smells wonderful. Similar to several Montale fragrances, particularly Dark Aoud. Found an importer online that will sell it from Kuwait for $89 plus $6 shipping...very reasonable.

I just received the mens version from them. Shipping took approx 2 weeks to Australia. Love the juice!
If you like Midnight Oud by Juliette has a Gun and Colonia Intensa Oud by Acqua di Parma, you will like this also.

I've enjoyed samplings of other Jesus Del Pozo scents and this one sounds pretty inviting. I'll have to check it out. Definite plus that it comes in EDP strength!!
