Is CK Obsession a Antaeus younger brother?

I received my CK Obsession from a swap today.
At the first smell, i saw a younger Antaeus, more youth, synthetic, sweet and cheaper.

Anyone else find this similarities?

I've never smelled Antaeus, but Obsession and youth aren't really two words I'd put in the same sentence.

Categorically No! ;')

not unless in the sense that they are both fragrances for men.
very very different.

Nope.

They are like night and day from each other -

Sorry, NONE.

Perhaps if the OP isn't used to frags with any sweetness, there may seem to be clear similarities. I find that if you get used to one type of frag, it changes the way you perceive other types of frags. Antaeus has strong beeswax and even stronger castoreum, neither of which is even in Obsession.

It doesn't matter if they share the exact same ingredients. Similar accords can be formed through different combinations of notes. But if you're looking for Antaeus' brother, try Krizia Uomo.

In my opinion, they are very very different.

Maybe not Antaeus's younger brother. But perhaps his cousins friends ex-boyfriend ? I think that is a possibility

Obsession for men, as far as I'm concerned shares a vibe with YSL La Nuit De L'homme, but it's the vibe because of the spicy sweetness.

But Chanel Anteus has nothing to do with CK Obsession and vice versa.

The honour of being Antaeus' younger brother belongs to 273 for Men by Fred Hayman.

Not at all.

No, it isn´t ... if you´re searching for Antaeus younger brother, try Fred Hayman 273 Rodeo Drive http://www.basenotes.net/ID26120027.html I´ve got both of them and there is certain similarity, anyway Antaeus is smoother and more complex...I like them both

I can´t find either similarity between these two.

Not similar, and not very good.. Very dated, and hasn`t passed the test of time. Unfortunately.
Obsession for me is still good, even post-reformulated age.

I find Pour Monsieur Concentrée to be like Tiffany for Men, or vice versa.

That being said, I find Obsession for Men to be a cruder version of both, even though it came first.
